I have been using a G7 now for a month playing Counter Stike source and HL2. I have never used multiple thumb buttons so I can't make any comments there. the unique thing about the G7 is the ability to change sensitivity on the fly which i find handy for different styles of gun battles...

I did check that link, and I checked those areas and they were already clean. That article is almost 2 years old as well. I am pretty sure it can be a virus.

But what about the fact that I go into MSconfig, unclick it and upon next reboot and has itself reclicked and recreated in the msconfig setup. I have never seen any other program do that before. It is unremovable. That doesn't seem right, And i have read articles that people have tweaked this...

Has anyone dealt with ptsnoop.exe ?

This has appeared on a computer here. I clicked on selective setup in MSCONFIG and told it not to run. I rebooted and the ptsnoop.exe reinstated itself to be ran. I have read mix things about this being a virus..... If anyone can shed any light, let me know. Hmm, there seems to be alot...

The riddle of Master Iomega in the death of win98

my 300 mhz cpu runs only at 200 (edit, solved !!! u all rock!!! )

It was a gigabyte 6WMME motherboard. I had the jumpers set to auto (options were, 66,100,133 or auto) I switchted the jumpers to 66 and then chose the 300 mhz cpu option in CMOS. I assumed that would have to switch the multiplier to 4.5. I ran quake3 for 10 minutes or so and everything...
