Nvidia Drivers vs ATi Drivers

I've never had any issues with both camps. Maybe because I've never overclocked video cards. Always uninstall drivers then update with manufacturers' releases. My buddies laugh at me because I always install video cards by reading through quick guides. I suspect being conservative works for me.

Phenom II X3 720: Unlocking, Overclocking, and ACC

What do you mean by core leveling? Is it characteristic of Biostar mobo,s only? I didn't see anything like that on my MSI board. I used BIOS 1.7 dated 3.31.09. I couldn't unlock my 550. Any suugestions would be greatly appreciated.

Overclocking is the Dumbest thing you can do!

It's fun to overclock. I know I have to spend more money to buy better RAM, better CPU cooler, better case, better PSU, better video card to have some satisfaction in working or play with my computer. My buddy spends more money on his wine but I 've never argued with him. I doubt if my Q6600...

Downsides of Overclocking

That makes sense. My q6600 can get to 3.3ghz (9 x 370) but it needs 1.31v in bios and memory voltage must be raised o 2.05. I chose to go with 400fsb x 8 (3.2ghz), 1:1 ratio, 1.2875v in bios and 1.95v for ram (4,4,4,12 timings). It passed OCCT 30' stress test with core 1, 2, 3, 4 highest at 57...
