Anyone play Van Helsing?

Just finished it. Loved it. Great voice acting. Interesting build options. Companion that can be geared and skilled to match your build. Nice loot. No auction house to ruin the fun of getting drops. Fun tower defense sections (just two, but a nice change of pace.) One character, but at least...

ATI Catalyst 10.4 is out and you want it badly

The mouse cursor bug is when the mouse cursor changes to a giant pixellated version of the mouse cursor and stays that way until you reboot. I fixed mine by flashing my P55 motherboard BIOS (Gigabyte GA-P55-UD4P, rev 1). Go figure. No, I don't know why that fixed it.

Ever tried/wonder what unsweetened soda might taste like?

There are whole brands of soda, like GUS and Izze that are just what you are talking about. Usually fruit flavors or ginger and the like. Don't know if there's a cola, though there might be. They are nice and tart, not sweet at all.

Wide-Gamut LCD OK for gaming? (...and Dell 2407 vs 2408)

The wide gamut monitor is fine for gaming, as long as you color correct the monitor. If you do not have an EyeOne or similar device to color correct the monitor, you should not purchase it.

It was #1. My original Corsair were 6400C4 ver. 2.1 and the new ones are 6400C4 ver 6.2. When I pull up the SPD values in CPU-Z the new ones claim 5-5-5-18 at 400MHz while the old ones were 4-4-4-12 at 400MHZ. I manually set the timings to the former values and the system finally boots. I'm...
