dual xeons, late to the party

The general recommendation seems to be Phanteks' Enthoo Pro, which has native mounts for SSI EEB form factor motherboards like the one from natex. The black version is currently on sale at Newegg: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811854003&ignorebbr=1

Hackintosh 10.5.5 Retail Rig - Starting at $305

Yeah, that's the model number (though there's only one d-link adapter). I have not had a single issue with it, even with sleep. Recommended!

Hackintosh 10.5.5 Retail Rig - Starting at $305

I got the D-link USB bluetooth adapter for about $10 on ebay, it's been great with my Apple Wireless Keyboard. Out of the box full compatibility

Hackintosh 10.5.5 Retail Rig - Starting at $305

I have a Samsung SATA DVD burner, but it wasn't working out of the box. I do also have an old Plextor SATA that was having ripping problems, I could hook that up and try it

Hackintosh 10.5.5 Retail Rig - Starting at $305

Nope, unfortunately I don't have an external USB drive. Looks like my best bet now is to just install off of a flash drive again on my "backup" drive, then from it run the Stella installer on my main drive? Yup, shoulda made sure that backup was actually bootable. Oh well, "one burned..."...

Hackintosh 10.5.5 Retail Rig - Starting at $305

How I did it was partition part of a WD green in HFS for the OSX backup, left the rest of it unformatted. It isn't bootable however, not sure why (possibly because it's nor a single partition?). Didn't have time to mess with that though. Whoops I'm thinking I could boot from that though if I...

Hackintosh 10.5.5 Retail Rig - Starting at $305

Well I seem to have screwed up. Background: I had a working UD3R hackintosh that was made according to the Lifehacker UD3P guide (just happened to have almost the exact same hardware). A week ago I cleared out my Extra folder and ran Stella's third installer and 10.6.2 update. Tonight I tried...

4 Cooler Master 120mm case fans $18.83 at Amazon

Why do you have that impression? From a review on the Amazon link: "Pros: - the fans are as advertised, dead silent! - screws are included for all 4 fans."

    Xbox 360 controller for windows.

Any 360 controller will work, though you'll need a special adapter for the wireless ones. But any USB ones will work. You can download drivers from Microsoft, brand of the actual controller doesn't matter. But yeah, I find the 360 controller to be my favorite of any console, and the Madcatz...

Hackintosh 10.5.5 Retail Rig - Starting at $305

That's what the reviews seems to say at the bottom of the product page. I think I'll go with the D-Link DBT-120, an ebay seller has them for $10ish

    Xbox 360 controller for windows.

I actually use a Madcatz wired 360 controller. I'm usually not one for third party controllers, but I like it better than the stock one. Better D-pad, stiffer control sticks, and fits my hands a bit better. I dunno, maybe something you want to check out.

Guild Wars -- worth playing at this point?

GW Prophecies is the original GW (they never made a console version), and the Platinum Editions come with either Prophecies or Factions and the EotN expansion. The EotN expansion is the latest release, and works with any of the games IIRC

Unreal Anthology for $2 (in store pickup) at Gamestop if you can find it

I was able to pick up an extra if someone wants to buy it for shipping and a little for me. Or a trade for another game (one from Newegg's blowout deal perhaps?).

    1TB Spinpoint F1 w/32mb cache model HD103UJ

Yeah, shipping kinda kills it for me. $87 would be great, but I think I'll just go with a WD Black 640GB for $72 shipped... EDIT: and sleefer just complicates things. Great! :P

    30GB Zune Refurb on Woot.com 79.99 +5 ship *DEAD*

I got one of these back in Oct '07 when Sellout Woot had them for $100, I highly recommend them. The first one I got had a weird audio issue (the vocals were way too low compared to the rest of it), so I called up MS support and they sent me a box for it. A week later I had a totally brand new...

Recommend to me some good earbuds ($30-$50 range)

Alright, received the ADDIEMs today. From only plugging them in my iPod Mini and listening to a few 192 kbps MP3s, I can tell that they are amazing compared to my old Marshmallows. Way more comfortable, sound quality is noticeably better (I honestly did not expect this much of a difference), and...

@ ivan2 I bought mine from a seller confirmed to have legit ones (a bunch of Head-Fi guys tested and recommend them). PM me for a link if you're interested :) @ BassBomb Sounds like you got some fake ones, considering the price...

Recommend to me some good earbuds ($30-$50 range)

Well I ended up going with the new Apple dual-driver IEMs. After several hours of reading on Head-Fi, the general consensus seemed to be that the NE-7M and the ADDIEM were pretty much equal (though different, i.e. the NE-7M has stronger bass, but ADDIEM has clearer highs), and that both were...

Recommend to me some good earbuds ($30-$50 range)

I'd really like to keep $50 as my max. I'm actually thinking I might jump on the NuForce NE-7M. Everything I've read says they're amazing, especially for the price.

Recommend to me some good earbuds ($30-$50 range)

I was hoping to get the CX500, but I can't find them anywhere which is why I kinda dropped them. Amazon (official retailer) has the Shure SE110 and V-Moda Vibe for $50 each, and I think I'll order one of those. From what I've read, the Vibes sound better, but break after 3-6 months (which...

Recommend to me some good earbuds ($30-$50 range)

Yeah, that's exactly why I don't like it. Unfortunately I can't find anything better than it in the CX series, and the CX300 seem to be a step down in actual sound quality. What about the Shure SE110? All the reviews I'm seeing say it's not as good as the higher models, but neither is it...

Recommend to me some good earbuds ($30-$50 range)

Do you have the CX300 or CX500? Is there much of a sound quality difference between them? I don't care for the 2 feet length of the CX400's wire, which none of the others have. I'd definitely get the CX500 if I could fine some real ones for $40 or below, but I can't seem to fine them anywhere...

Recommend to me some good earbuds ($30-$50 range)

So I've got a new job where I'm sitting at a desk all day and I'd like to get some new earbuds. I've always kinda cheaped out and bought the $10 things (I'm currently using some JVC Marshmallows with e2c pads and the Kramer mod) since audio quality doesn't matter so much when you're running, but...
