Boot into DOS and give "fdisk /mbr".This will clear the MBR and you'll get rid of lilo. Then just delete the Linux partitions. But as the previous person said this can be done during the 7.2 installation too.
Linux uses its own filesystem, ext2 (it is read second extended). But you can mount and have read/write access to FAT32 partitions from within.I cannot understand what you really ask.If you mean that you have an empty FAT32 that you want to use to install Linux then no problem it will be...
Blackcomb is the 64-bit version of Windows for Intel Itanium and AMD Sledgehammer. And I am definite Neptune was prior to Whistler (which is in beta stage right now).Neptune never proceeded beyond alpha stage.
When Win2000 was still under beta testing, Microsoft begun the development of the next edition. At first there were two different approaches, code-named Neptune and Odyssey for home and business use respectively, both based on NT technology (=New Technology Technology :D).Eventually at the end of...
The following is from the help menu that comes with Xteq systems, X-Setup (the best registry tweaker in my opinion, far better than TweakUI):
Windows 9x/ME File Allocation Cache
Disk fragmentation occurs inherently in Windows 9x and most frequently accessed files "break up" spanning...
FC-PGA2 is going to be the new socket the Pentium 4 (formerly known as Willamette) is going to use.Tualatin is going to be the Willamette with 512K L2 cache instead of the 256K that the original Willamette will have. And Coppermine-T will also be based on 0.13 micron (hence the voltage of...
Press "~" to bring the console when you are in the main menu. Then give the following commands
disconnect
timedemo 1
demo demo001
When the benchmark finishes press "~" again to see the result.
If you burn a CD it is bootable itself. But if you want to install from hard drive this is what you should do to make a boot disk:
There is a directory called \Images, inside there are two files boot.img and bootnet.img.The first (boot.img) is the image you need if you install from the CD or...
Yes maybe it is because of this.Another way I forgot to mention is to mount the floppy and specify that it is dos formatted:
mount -t dos /dev/fd0 /mnt/floppy
mcopy and in general mtools work just fine.
Motherboard Monitor, most people use this:

I also have a BE6-II and for some strange reason HW Doctor doesn't work too.
Since you can't install Windows at overclocked speed, something seems wrong.Try also other programs like Prime95 and CPUBurn.I was also able to run for hours CPU Stability Test on systems that proved to be unstable.Or try 3DMark 2000.
A common problem of unstable overclocked systems is that you get CRC errors when trying to unzip compressed files. This is why you can't install Windows, because the *.CAB files cannot uncompress properly.I think that your system is still not 100% stable and you are going to find out this sooner...
You have to install mtools. Then you can access Windows formatted floppies just like you do in DOS but every command must start with "m" for example mdir instead of dir, mcopy instead of copy etc.I think that if you give mtools you get a list of all available commands.
If you are confident of yourself, do something more radical (I am doing this all time with both scandisk and defrag):
Edit your system.ini (C:\Windows\System.ini).Under [boot] there is an option shell=explorer.exe.If you ever used any shell replacement (like Litestep) you may know this option...
Try booting into safe mode and then running defrag. In this way you are going to be sure that no programs are running in the background that may cause it to start again and again.
You may also try CPU stability test:
http://www.tweakfiles.com/diagnostic/cpustabilitytest.html
It also stresses the CPU a lot and after half an hour it gives a grade for your system from 1/6 (unstable) to 6/6(Rock stable). And also CPUBurn:
http://users.ev1.net/~redelm/
With this program you...
You can get Prime95 here:
http://www.ocshoot.com/file/prime95.zip
I am also using a BE6-II with a Celeron 566@852.At first it was 100% stable only at 1.85V (I am testing stability with Prime95, if it doesn't crash in less than 5 minutes then there is no way that the system is going to ever...
I would recommend to go for Linux instead.FreeBSD is not so easy to install as Linux. And I don't think that "recompile the kernel" applies to FreeBSD (anybody who knows better please correct me). Also there are more applications that you can use with Linux. In general FreeBSD is...
Even better get Xteq Systems, Xsetup. It is free and has much more options than TweakUI.In my opinion it is the best Windows tweaking tool that exists.

Have you set the PCI bus to 1/3 FSB and AGP bus to 2/3?
Default values (at 66FSB) are 1/2 and 1/1 so if you hadn't change the ratios you are trying to run at 50MHz PCI (!!!) and 100MHz AGP (!!!).
Open Windows Explorer, right-click on the drive's icon and select "Properties".Next to "Type" you will see if it is Fat32 or simple Fat.
Here is THE BEST windows tweaking site I have ever found and has some WinMe tweaks too:

Also try:
http://www.regedit.com
Read the Linux HOWTO to find out the way to use Win2K boot loader to boot Linux. It is quite easy.Be careful during the installation of Linux not to install lilo on master boot record and also to create a Linux boot disk. Here is the link:
http://www.linuxdoc.org/HOWTO/mini/Linux+NT-Loader.html
Open registry editor (Start->Run->regedit) and go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE->Software->Microsoft->Windows->Current Version->Run and delete all the entries to programmes you don't want to start with windows.
Create a file in your home directory which will contain the command "startkde" (without the quotes).Save it as .xinitrc.In this way when you startx (or better startx -bpp 16 so you will have 16bit High color) it will start KDE.In this way you may start any windowmanager you want.Just...
Same thing happened to me (Celeron 566@875).After this I don't think I'll trust Sandra again in the future.I'll use it only to compare my own systems results in order to improve performance. As for the Rambus results they seem natural.Even Intel admitted that SDRAM+BX is faster than RDRAM+i810.
