    TBIRD, KT7, and ISA....

    The modem was originally an X2, I flashed it to V90 standard. I've been using this modem for a long time with no problems at all. I just switched ISP's, I've always connected at maximum rates.     Experiences with NetZero?

    Netzero is OK, but I would hate to use it a my primary ISP. I don't like the disconnects. Plus it sucks for online gaming. It's nice to have as a backup, if my primary isp is down.

    The way I look it it, the more the better. However, In heavy battles you can get a drastic reduction in fps. So if your running at 30, and it drops to 10, thats very bad. I play a lot of UT. It depends on the map. On some I will get higher FPS due to less polygons. Offline I average bout 55...

    In UT, You can't do that....but if you look when some body sends you a message like "I need backup" it should say their location...i.e. Red Base, Blue Base...CourtYard...Red Boiler Room, whatever..It's up to you to learn the maps, and communicate with your teammates...
