Ok great, I was really hoping that was possible.
I just wasnt sure if there were any issues with the drive being recognized in a PnP fashion or some other firmware stuff that makes a pre-packaged external drive easier to use than if I tried to do what you suggest.

Wow that is a nice cooler. Too bad NewEgg doesn't have it...
Availability can be a pain. It seems to mount very securely though hard to see exactly how it happens but I suppose you can get the manual from their site.
As or the other cooler mentioned, it seems to be very nice as well...
