I played the demo of SOSE and thought it was great. Really great. It wasn't really an acquired taste for me, or if it was, I acquired it very quickly. I am a big RTS fan though.

w/e man, but it's pretty obvious that when SirPauly said the 9700pro was the greatest GPU ever made, he didn't mean the best in terms of performance ever made.

To be fair though, no one ever suggested that any of these older cards were the "best GPU ever", they said they were "greatest GPU ever". Quite a big difference between being the greatest and being the best. You know what they say, "the greats come first and the cream of the crop comes after" :p

Giffgaff piggyback off of O2, so yeah the signal is good. Whether it's better than 3 in your area I don't know. I'm not sure what the upload/download speeds are, but it's good enough for watching 240p Youtube video's, which is the most intensive thing I do. I know the US has 4g, while the UK...

You're from the UK I take it? same as me. Well I pay £10 a month for unlimited internet, unlimited texts, 250 minutes. It's with giffgaff and internet really is unlimited because I tether my phone to my netbook and use up huge amounts of data sometimes streaming video. Never had a problem.

That's true, though the Q6600 and 8800 Ultra also destroyed the competition at the time IIRC, which made them a bit special, but I'm not disagreeing with anything you said. Edit: I'll stop going on about the Q6600 and 8800 Ultra now ^_^

For me the Q6600 combined with a 8800Ultra would be a rather pleasing bit of history to own. They were around at the same time and had so such staying power compared to anything else, I thought so anyway. But I wasn't into gaming early enough to know about voodoo's and shit like that.

Best Bang for Buck at $150?

That's interesting, I have noticed that some xfx cards come with less than stellar coolers and have wondered how much difference it made. Quite a lot it seems. But the OP went with a better twin cooling solution in the end so dats good.

I'm not 100% sure but I think the hyperthreading on the i3 is relevant for gaming in games that use more than two cores. Hyperthreading on a quadcore isn't because games don't really use more than 4 cores.

Makes sense, if your example occurred to any great extent on these forums I can definitely see it becoming annoying. The OP's question, on the other hand, seems fair enough and I do not find it annoying at all. What was in the mind of the rule makers when they made the rule, I have no idea.

why does not nobody speak about Sony Xperia SOLA ?

Agree, I think most people here r only interested in the highest spec phones. The xperia arc for example only had a single core when others had dual core. But still a nice phone for the right price. Edit: It was Sony's highest end phone and was priced the same as other high end dual core phones.

Really nice build... It just blows my mind what someone can get these days for under $800, a 3.1GHz Intel Quad core and an insanely powerful AMD 7850 GPU. As for the other components: XFX PSU, should be super reliable. 8gb Ram, perfect amount of ram for ANY purely gaming rig. 1tb hdd, way more...

You seriously think D3 is an MMO? Cuz that's what you're implying. The format of Diablo II is exactly the same as Diablo 3, no one in their right mind has ever described D2 as an MMO. But people are calling D3 an MMO because of Blizzards always on DRM, ridiculous IMO.

Yeah but why can't there be an offline only mode? i.e. you can create a character for offline play only and can not take him/her online. In offline mode the game would run from your computer but online mode would remain the same, done through blizzards servers. You would be completely unaffected...
