I have them and they absolutely rock. They are one of the best investments I've ever made for my pc.
Just make sure you have a good sound card to go with them, such as a audigy. The old sb live doesn't
do them justice. :)
Wow I really didn't think about the planning etc. I'm glad I posted here and got yalls advice
before I went out and blew the whole 10,000.00. I really appreciate it. Keep it coming. :)
My mother has decided that she will give me 10,000.00 to start my own pc tech business.
I'm very excited about this. I've dreamed about this for years now. I have a couple of
questions from you experts. Can you recommend a good web site to buy pc repair supplies?
Is there a way I can buy the...
I have a Toshiba PDR M4 and I really love it. I have had it for about 2 years now and it has always
been reliable. Plus you can upgrade their firmware through there website to make them even better
as time goes on.
I was very much a newbie when I first started in computers so I bought a Packard Bell. That was about 9 years ago.
Believe it or not I had alot of fun with that computer. It had all the bells and whistles at the time. It was one of the
first computers to have a CD rom drive etc. Now I wouldn't...
Western Digital right now is the fastest and the best in my opinion if you go witht their special editions in
the 100 and 120 gig flavors. I have the 100 gig special edition with the 8 meg buffer and it screams. And it
is very reliable as well!
This not upgrading attitude is the thing that is holding us all back. You have to upgrade so the
wheel is put in motion man. I upgrade every 6 months at least.
No offense guys but these forums used to be about what is the best, nowadays it seems to be
about what is the cheapest. Personally I go for the best because I know it's going to last and I
know it's going to work. I believe that you get what you pay for! So here's a vote for Plextor and
a big...
I have a logitech optical thumb trackball and I love it. Been using it for over 3 years. Never have to clean it either.
Best investment I've ever made!
I could be wrong but I don't think you are supposed to unplug and plug scanners and printers
in your parralel port while the computer is on. I believe it will fry your motherboard.
I know it's ok for sure if it's usb, but not serial or parralel. I could be wrong though.

Hi all,
I'm going to be upgrading to xp from 98 very soon. My question is this, currently I have a TDK 12X10X32
CDRW drive but I'm concerned the software I have now will not be compatible with xp so I was thinking about
buying new software from Roxio for it when I upgraded to xp but it cost...
Cockeyed that is totally untrue. You can put the 66 with the 100 on the same channel with no problems
whatsoever. the 66 will not slow the 100 down at all. Nothing to worry about here.
Triple J he didn't ask for a smart alec remark. Please don't make this another AMD versus
Pentium war thread!
As for the original question I would go with the Pentium 4 for sure.
I wouldn't own anything that had an IBM label on it. I worked at EDS for a number of years and we always had trouble with the IBMS. They made Junk! Dell on the other we never had problems with. Very high quality machine!
The pc speaker volume won't go all the way up in play control. I don't know what caused it. Can't figure it out. I can turn volume
control control and all other controls all the way up except for this one. It is stuck on one third up and I can't turn it down or up.
This really frustrates me...
I've got the geforce 2 ultra also and I'm going to wait on the nv 25. I've heard the ti 500 is not all that much faster than the
regular ge 3. If it was me I would wait.
You need to keep your hard drive as master on your ide 1. Make your dvd primary on ide 2 and cdrw secondary on ide 2. You definitely don't want to mix your hard drive and cd drives on same ide channel!
I thought about financing a new computer but in the end decided against it. WHy? Because I upgrade to
much, at least once a year. I can't stand the thought of having the exact same machine for 3 or more years.
Gives me the chilly willys!
vpboy prove that an athlonxp kicks the p4s a... I don't think you can. The p4 is the best solution for
multimedia period! The only thing the athlon is faster at is appz. Who cares! I dont' care if word
loads 1 second sooner! I like games and photoshop and things like that where the p4 really...
