I have a fairly stable overclock on my EP45-DS3 board, E8500 chip and GSkill 2x2G 1066 PI Ram, at both 3.6Ghz (379 x 9.5) and 4.0Ghz (422 x 9.5). The problem I've having, and would like advice on, is when I run the ram using XMP settings, and pick a multi that takes it to 1066 or the next...

G.Skill for GA-EP45-DS3 - Which one?

Can someone tell me what the difference is between the G.Skill DDR2 4G (2x2G) PC8500 1066Mhz, Model: F2-8500CL5D-4GBPK and the G.Skill DDR2 4G (2G x 2) PC2-8500 1066Mhz PI, Model: F2-8500CL5D-4GBPI Is it just the Heatspreaders? Also, should I have any compatibility issues running them...

GA-EP45-DS3: Choice of RAM?

Now I've upgraded my board to a GA-EP45-DS3, I plan in the next couple weeks to upgrade CPU and Ram. Cpu is fine, as I'm getting a E8500, but I'm concerned about Ram compatibility. I'd prefer Corsair PC8500 2x2G, but it's too dear. OCZ Platinum, I'm also interested in (PC8500 2x2) G.Skill...

GA-P35-DS3 or GA-P35-DS3L?

I don't think I explained myself prooperly. My future build was to be a E8500 (FSB 1333), a GA-EP45-DS3L, and 2x2G Corsair PC8500 C5Dominator. I would overclock this setup to hopefully at least 4.0Ghz (9.5x421), which would be underclocking the 1066 Ram to 842, thus being able to run tighter...

VOLTAGE QUESTION FOR CORE2DUO

Thanks both for the reply. Will stick with what I got now, I think, as 3.6Ghz is Xmas to me. I don't think anyone can sneeze at a 35% overclock. Just don't want to do too much harm, as I'd like to keep the chip for at least another year.

VOLTAGE QUESTION FOR CORE2DUO

I have my Vcore voltage set in Bios at 1.46v. Any lower and it will not hold the Overclock on next cold reboot. CpuZ shows this voltage on idle as 1.44v, and Vdroops to 1.41v in Orthos. I'm assuming CpuZ figures are correct. The below specs from Intel's website are for my Cpu. Even tho they...

How to run Real Temp minimised?

Can anyone please tell me how to run Real Temp minimised? I'm including it in my System Startup, but I don't see any provision for it to run minimised. Preferably, I'd like it to run minimised in the Icon Tray. Thanks in advance.

Can someone ease my frustration? When I click on Start, then Programs, if I Right/Click any Folders and try to click "Open", I get a "Move Items" and "Copy Items" box come up on top of each other. It's getting it's wires crossed and thinks I want to copy/move the folder that I try to open...
