Hey Quick1 its you soundcard doing all the problems...it usually shares the same IRQ as the video card...I had the same problem and resolved it by changing the IRQ
1.5 weeks of banging my head and after I installed the Hercules Prophet IIgts 64mb I have resolved my lockup problems. If you are having this problem check all of your IRQ settings. Most Nvidia cards like to share IRQs (in my case the sound card). One must go through all the bios flashes...
I just cant't seem to get my mouse wheel to rotate through the weapons on the above games. Does anyone know what to set the Logitech mouse setup program for making the mouse wheel work?
I would like to be able to rotate thru my weapons using the wheel.

Okay, after reading more of the forum, I see that I am not alone with my problems (which kind of makes me feel better). Has anyone found a cure or do we wait for the latest drivers?

Has anyone encountered lockups using the Hercules 3D Prophet II GTS 64MB? My computer was working fine until I reinstalled windows and added the video card. I have the following system
Asus p3v4x
intel Pent III 700E (clocked to 868)
265mb Ram
Prophet II GTS
