Mobo swap, w2k no boot

Recently installed epox 8kta3, had dual boot 2k/98, 98 got up and running fine, 2k wouldn't boot for luv or money, i tried several recovery methods, gave up and re-installed

Put it this way, if your hot, what get's u cooler quickest, a fan blowing on u or one than drags air around u??

Asus Mx pure card or Herc Prophet MX?

Hey, boz, the herc card comes out with the mem o/c as standard[ here in australia], i was going to buy this card, but as the asus already had a game which i wanted to buy i chose it[ $299 herc, $330 asus, $90 to buy sof on it's own], so as u can see i saved $60 by buying card n' game together...

Bought the asus myself coz sof came with it, so saved a bit there. Cant go wrong with either i spoze but i can only get 205/212 at the o'clock with asus.Any higher is unstable.:(But it works super and i have no complaints thus far:D

GE Force MX and a K6-2 450???

Well it's like this. I have an k6-2 450@500, asus p5a-b, 128mb generic pc 100,sb vibra, 2x quantam hdd[5400 rpm].wITHtnt2m64 @1152x 864 3d mk2000 score of 872[slooow], my old setup. i put in Asus v7100t gf2mx and now get 2095 using same res. I think the hardware t&l spec i test it at is the...

And still another reason that Nvidia Geforce 2 cards have below-average graphics

All i can say is that i had an original voodoo 4meg pci, i now have a tnt2m64[ crap i know but video cards are expensive in australia], it runs ok for what i use it for. All u people should get out some more , get a life and see beyond your damn monitor's.
