    :rolleyes: As if your statement held any more weight, why try discredit the poster. As to the OP, I think there may be a spec of truth, on the other hand the 980 has been disproportionately expensive for a mid-range card for a long time. On top of it all the drops are minor.

    That 24" has freesync too! $350-400 for 4k! Awesome to see some (official, beyond sales) price drops on new products. They are getting cheaper rapidly, last year the "new" low was $600 (now the AOC is $350). Exciting times as a high DPI enthusiast.

    That's true, however from my experience I'd rather have settings on high and use 4k than max settings on 1080p (for now, the next gen may already increase them another notch etc. since the monitor will outlive a gpu, perhaps several).     I think the consoles sporting GCN is a substantial feature for AMD to benefit from. Consoles will continue to be optimized further until they are far more capable then they were at release, especially with such long lifespans.     The point would be to investigate why/how/when some people are getting reduced quality. If benchmarks are done with a 10% performance boost they are invalidated. It's just PC components which none of us should care about other than the integrity of the data, without ulterior motives.
