Yes, but that only occurred after I removed the chip while testing everything. Because I was clumsy. Gonna clean it off before I put it back in a new motherboard that I have coming. It was not like that when it was in the slot.

My motherboard had a "Start" button inherently built into the board with no wiring. The manual says this will boot the computer if pressed. Does that take the place of the 2 pin shorting trick (I've never heard of this).

Ah ok. Is a panel is S-PVA is it almost guaranteed to have ghosting/input lag or could it potentially be fine? I mean it does says its only 6ms response time, which is not bad at all. I have never had a problem with my 5ms monitors.

Reinstalled working ATI driver, now it nor any ATI driver works at all!

Yes, that is the hotfix I originally tried to install that started this mess. I have not tried System restore yet, and that is a great idea! The instructions in the hotfix specifically said to not do a repair install, and to instead do a complete uninstall of any previous drivers. I didn't...

One question: 1. The way you put it you make it seem that the only advantage the BenQ has is its size? When you say that the LG is vibrant do you mean that it looks better than the BenQ in term of colors? Because if the LG is a better looking monitor and a faster one, I wouldn't mind...
