Update: Had samsung techs come out.They were going to replace the main circuit board so i exchanged it since i was within my 30 day time period.Got the new TV(same model) and whaddya know,same problem...Im giving up on this setup =(
Yep thats how i have it.I just tried to unplug the HDMI and left the HDMI audio in to see if i got sound,nothing.Ill get back on the horn with samsung and see if i can get ahold of someone who knows what theyre talking about.Would be a bummer if i have to get this serviced,just bought it a month...
Ok i tried the cable going from my MP3 player to the input i use for my satellite audio,it worked.I plugged the 3.5 mm end into my pc,it worked as well.So its not the cable.Where does this leave me lol?
I have an mp3 player.Not sure how i can test the cable with it though.It just has a out port for the headphones and a data input.
Edit: I hooked the 3.5mm end into the mp3 player and tried the DVI audio ports AND the regular AV audio in ports ,tried them with all sources and nothing.Does...
I am using HDMI 2.The 2 audio ports right next to it say DVI IN(HDMI 2) above the ports then under (L) Audio (R) under it.I have the RCA plugged in there.

I have my Samsung series 4 450 42 inch plasma hooked up to my PC with DVI/HDMI cable for video and 2 RCA/3.5 MM for audio.The soundcard is a sound blaster audigy SE.
I am trying to watch movies on my TV that are saved on my PC.Video works but no sound.
I have everything connected properly...
It does have a PC audio to go with D-Sub cable connection.But if i used it,it wouldnt be under the same source as the HDMI so id either have audio or video but not both at the same time.
There are 2 special audio in ports that are just for use with the HDMI connection and i have them plugged...
