XTknight, when i look up close to my screen, i can see the 'dots' again, most are blue. An question to this, can stuck (sub)pixels be seen on a 3008wfp in a dark room with a black background from a distince of 40-50cm?

Hej XTknight, Have received my new 3008WFP. Its an new A02 and i cant find any defect pixels at all with all color backgrounds using UndeadPixel. The video thing with the white thingys is still here, but i knew it wasnt something bad. Like u said, something like an videobuffer. There is...

Just a general question, i see that you say that IPS is better at blacks in movies? Ive allways thought it was in reverse, VA was better with black crushing? And how does the 3008's S-IPS compare to other high-end lcd's such as the NEC 3090 and the very popular DoubleSight 263 in your eyes...

Ive seen the w2207h too and all the nice looks are coming from the Glossy Coating. Allthough it does have disadvantages too such as tiring to the eye and the reflections in daylight.

Btw xtknight, ive bought a pack of bottles destilled water for just 5 euros. Have cleaned with it 2 times, and now it doesnt have any bobbles when i hold my breath to the panel. Much better, but i still the stripes from top to end if i breath to the panel, but i guess u will allways see...

I think any or most PVA's are better then TN Film. TN has bad shifting at any angle... Ive the Dell 3008wfp A02 and so far im very happy with it, the main difference between the 3007 and 3008 is that the 3008 has a scaler chip, a wider gamut, tons of connections (hdmi/displayport/dual...

XTknight, ive readed ur explanation about cleaning monitors. Ive cleaned my monitor using the Dell cleaning cloth it came with, i made it wet and cleaned my screen. The cloth that came with the Dell is a Microfiber, i made it wet with tap-water and cleaned my LCD. Now that i used tap-water...

Like i said, they dont differ much, the T220 has somewhat better colors and its faster. I also thought the 2232 has diff panels, where the T220 has all Samsungs... not sure

Both dont differ much, its more the looks. To note, the T220 has less input lag and a somewhat better color accuracy.

Okej xtknight, did some testing. Have switchet the dvi cable to another port (dvi2) and it did the same. So it isnt a bad input on the Dell. I also tried another cable (dvi single) and it did the same as you see on video 2 (or pic). About that, to be honest, i dont think its a defect. It doesnt...

In this test: http://www.galacticmag.com/mon...ness-and-contrast.html My 3008wfp can display all of them exept the '255' feature in multimedia preset modus. I can see abit of it, but its only a part of it. Should a 3008 even be able to display that gradient?

Changing to sRGB mode indeed reduces the green halo effect around letters, but as you noted, sRGB is lifeless on this screen (due to wide gamut yes). To re-ask, is this something to worry about or return the screen? Btw, it also does when i click on "turn off pc'' or shut dow or restart with...

It seems to do it when the monitor has been on/off. Ill try to make a pic. What ive to note is, i allways see that DVI icon on top left of my screen after it booted to my desktop (also after the white field yesterday). Could it be that the monitor 'finds' the source and gives a white field...

Yep, you mostly get the cables that are suited to use with your monitor. Mostly you get what the monitor needs, like ive got an DVI-D cable for my Dell cause it needed to get up to 2560x1600. You also get the drivers with the monitor aswell everything else you need. I even got a cleaning cloth...

I'm using DVI dual link, 2560x1600. But i think it was false alarm. Im not sure but, i used WMV HD content again, and i cannot really see it anymore. I sit with my nose on it the line, and when i keep looking on the line, it keeps steady (maybe a lil bit change but very hard to note).
