Is it.....dead? EDIT: Intel Sucks

I have a VA6 that's been (and is right now) running a celeron 300@450. I got a P3 700 and a MS6905 and it won't even post...ever. I put the 700 in a BE6 and they work fine. I'd try some older CPUs before you trash the Abit. This is my 3rd VA6. Two have died on me :(

Yamaha CRW8424E CD-RW doesn't recognize blank CD's...

I'm having the same problem with the 16x IDE model. Once into Windows, I load a blank CD. The adaptec software recognizes the blank and starts the software. I can burn from here fine. If I close the software at all, it won't recognize any blank media without a reboot. The system has a fresh...

Hot? 30GB IBM Deskstar 75GXP harddrive - Out of Stock Order Cancelled

I talked to a guy at AM... he said they only had ONE drive. They knew when they posted it..why didn't the site say "only one available" ?!?!?! It's dirty even if it was a mistake. They should offer somethingto keep the peace. Not that I reaaly care, I knew it was too good o be true:D

Promise fast track 66 ---W2K setup fails

I pulled the latest drivers from promise. I Booted from both the floppies and the CD itself. Every time I try, W2k setup can't find a hard disk. I specified the raid card as well as a few others from promise. Asus P3V4x 128MB pc133 933MHz 2 WD 13.6ba hard drives Anyone done a fresh W2K...
