Small office networking advice needed

What I guess I'm trying to get at: is SBS2003 something I absolutely need for this setup? Budget IS a concern. Does WinXP have primary domain server capability? Do you think it is necessary for this setup? Thanks for the links, though. Pretty informative. Tony

Nice set of quarterbacks. Definitely start Brady with his weapons. I would try to parlay Romo into a stud RB/WR/TE depending on your league setup. Get a waiver QB w/ favorable match up when NE is on their bye week.

Recommend me a card please

So the ATI is a tad faster but the GeForce runs cooler? Any other reason to lean one way or the other? They both seem right in my price range. Also any major difference between 512mb and 256mb? Thanks!

I have a DFI Lanparty NF4, so technically have the SLI capability... but is that worth it? I play mainly WoW with some Quake 4 but want some wiggle room for newer games when they come out. I currently have a 6600GT. Want to budget $100-$150 right now. Two DVI slots would be nice as I plan to...

I'm running a small pick'em league and I was wondering if anyone had a nice little spreadsheet that would keep track of the ranking for me as we go week to week. All the people are doing are predicting the winner for each team, no spread or anything. Anyone have anything like this?

What can I put into this Dell Inspiron 8200?

My buddy brought his computer into Geek Squad because it was giving the 'ol "Click of death." They also said the hard drive was fried, but I told him I would install a new one for him to save the money. Anyways, I was wondering how to find out what hard drives I can put into this laptop...

Okay I'm going with the 1 gig of ram for sure, and just gonna go SATA1 caus none of you seem to think SATA2 is worth it, and the Seagate warranty and past experience w/ them makes me more comfortable than going w/ Hitachi.

I'll have to wait til I'm back from work to post the info about the power supply. Also, I'm only seeing the 7200.8 in like 120 GB + applications, is the performance a big leap over 7200.7? The price difference for the cheapest 7200.8 on Newegg is like $40.

Thanks for the suggestions, the rig will be used for everything basically, from mild to heavy gaming, but I do get into new games from time to time.. like Battlefield 2, or the new Quake when it is out, etc... so I do want it to handle some graphic heavy stuff, which is why I want to go the AMD...

Music only comes out of front 2 speakers..

I have a Logitech 5.1 setup, and for some reason through winamp the music only comes through the front two. However, in Windows Media Player, the music comes through all 5. Does anyone know how to fix this? I looked through winamp to see a speaker setup or something, but couldn't find...

I really don't know what to do here. I keep removing that stuff from HJT, running ad-aware, spybot: S&D, etc.. .spybot has cool www search entries (multiple) that it can't get rid of, ad-aware has a .dll file it can't get rid of in the system32 folder. Here is anotehr HJT log.. is there...

Schadenfroh, thanks for the quick reply. I downloaded the VX2 cleaner, and despite the newest definitions of ad-aware detecting the VX2 malware on my system, the plug-in says my system is 'clean'. I also noticed that during ad-aware scanning and cleaning, explorer crashes at the same time...
