    I have a mx518 and don't use one. My computer desk is already well worn from mousing for the last 10 or 15 years, so it's flat and slick. The "feet" on the 518 are hard rubber and Logitech will replace them for free, so not worried about that either.

    Worked fine for me when I had it installed before. Though I reinstalled it on my SSD and now it's flaky. Haven't cared enough to try and fix it on this current system. Have you tried running it in Vista compatibility mode? Might try the unofficial patch too.

    I only moved off the stuff in my profie that was related to "my x", movies, documents, downloads, pictures etc. I have steam installed on the SSD so that it starts up faster, but only have 3 or 4 games installed. My previously installed games are still on the HDD along with Mod downloads etc...

    It adds teleporters to the DLC as gearbox never put any in and the Knoxx DLC is HUGE and involves a lot of driving just to get anywhere. Plus parts of it are bugged so that you have to fight your way on foot even after you clear it out and are supposed to be able to drive and make it eaiser.
