Pulling out microphone shutsdown computer?

Just what the message title says. The computer is fine when I plug it in, but after I am done with my headphones and want to use the external speakers, pulling out the microphone causes my computer to shut down immediately. Any ideas? Thanks!

Do what I did, join a guild that assaults keeps. RvR inevitably breaks out as the other side comes to defend the keep and/or to take it back. Heck, sometimes you can participate in a PuG keep assault. Just have to keep an eye on the map frequently in order to find such a beast. Obviously...

I have only watched the intro movie once. Hit the "any key" to skip it and jump right into the game. You are having a large number of problems with the game. Have you tried contacting them about the problems? Maybe not, since you had trouble finding the "any key." :P /jk

My New E8600

Samsung DvD no longer recognized by Vista

Well, I managed to fix it by using Windows Restore and moving to an earlier installation state. Gonna watch it closely and see what, if anything, causes that to happen. Thanks for the quick reply hclarkjr! My motherboard is an Asus P5Q Deluxe.
