Check your in-game ping. It's probably about 200 (or above)... you have described what happens to me when my ping is near those levels.

Fallout 3?

A big appeal of F3 is the exploration, story, and decisions you make along the way. Just watching someone walk through a mostly deserted landscape is not a good way to get a feel for the game.

Worth going from 280 FTW to 285 FTW?

I'm a GTX280 user, and I'll wait until the GT300b (with Direct X 11) in Q4 before I upgrade again. If you upgrade now, you will be paying a lot for no noticeable difference, and when dx11 comes you would want to upgrade again.

Dogs aren't nearly as annoying as the helicopter in COD4. The dogs I can kill rather easily unless they surprise me from behind... the helicopter in COD4 is just too powerful.

Anyone exctied about Empire: Total War???

Well, I just got it yesterday and I have Rome: TW already installed. You have to click on the game offer (E:TW) and scroll down and it will say that it comes with R:TW for free. It is not apparently visible, but it is there.

Those are my first two. I also suck at multiplayer RTS's... I enjoy playing single player on those but, once I switch to multi, merciless RTS veterans always rush me with a whole bunch of crap and obliterate me. I guess I like the aspect of base building and expansion but when playing...

(PC) The 1st Medal of Honor - this game got me into multiplayer FPS (PC) Call of Duty 2 - played this for about 2 years after MoH (PC) Rome: Total War - ex-gf broke up with me over my obsession with this game... nothing like unleashing hundreds of elite Roman soldiers on filthy barbarians...

Is Steam becoming the main way for pc game distribution?

I have around 20 retail games and over 30 STEAM games... I love STEAM. I understand how people with a slow internet connection may feel frustrated with STEAM; however, we have to keep in mind that internet connections will continue to get faster with time. I am sort of a video games...

Crysis Warhead worth the money

I wouldn't buy it for the single player only. It's too short (about 5hrs), and it does not have much replay value. Multiplayer, on the other hand, is phenomenal. So short answer is no, unless you have an above average computer and plan to play multiplayer.

If you see the Youtube video of him and Obama, he started by telling Obama "your tax plan is going to hurt me isn't it?", implying that he already owned a business that made more than 250k in profits. He was dishonest from the get-go.

Need some good PC game suggestions.

Mass Effect + Fallout 3 are the greatest games there IMO. Also, Fable: The Lost Chapters is really good and can be bought cheap these days. Honorable mention: Titan Quest Gold Pack Edit: Titan quest demo didn't work for me off Steam either. I bought the Gold Pack anyways and it works...

Need some good PC game suggestions.

Fallout 3 is GREAT. However, the PS3 version is supposedly the worse one out of the 3 platforms (PC, Xbox360, PS3). I would get it for the PC later instead of going with the PS3 version.
