Recommendations for glossy 2k monitor

I am looking for some recommendations for a glossy 2k monitor under $500. It seems to be a hard criteria to search for, as its not always stated in the monitor specifications. Any help with this would be appreciated.

Old School Water Cooling

H105 Pump Cover Removal

Apparently, from what my research has shown me, is that it is very compatible when using the nvidia mounting holes, but when you have to use the amd holes you end up having issues. I solved this issue though, spent more money, got a second radiator and water block and will be tossing my 290...

H105 Pump Cover Removal

Does anyone know if temporarily removing the corsair H105 pump cover would void the warranty? I am eager to try and use this cooler with a kraken g10 and a R9 290. To do this combo it seems the edge of the pump cover makes the mounting screws very very difficult.

Sorry, I was looking to spend about $300 total on a few things like bigger case (haf stacker) new tubing, ex140 radiator, a few new fans for new case, x5650 and some other associated cable pieces. What I was comparing was the spending of $300 on the old system vs $300+old system sale= new system.

I think I am leaning towards the x5650 and other case/cooling improvements. Its just when you get to the point of realizing the money you are spending is equal to what a new setup might cost, that you feel you need to ask the question out loud.

h110 w/ 140mm - 120mm adapter?

Very true, I had not looked much into BF3 and c2ds. It was just that up till recently that most games still did fine on a hot clocked C2D.

If that is in fact a Xeon 3110, I don't see how that will cause a bottleneck. In my limited research I have found that the high end C2Ds with a bit of overclocking are still competent little processors. I am pretty sure that you don't bottleneck with something like that till you get into higher...

antec 300 illusion case $45 at ne

The only thing I wasn't real happy about this case was that it felt like the power/reset button cables were a tad short. Luckily I had an old case laying around, sniped out its power/reset cables, spliced them into the Antec 300s cables, and then was able to route power/reset as I liked.

Can't connect to or through router

Wow, after so much stumbling and bumbling its working. Thank you very much folks. I am guessing that because I had tried to access the router before with the cable from the modem attached that it was causing me to not be able to access the the router. The IP was as guessed set to 192.168.1.1...

Ok, Both devices work when they are directly connected to dsl modem. As of yet, I have not been able to access the router for any config. I get all good connectivity lights on both router and modem when I try to connect through router, but everything I have tried so far to get into the router...

6900's are over 11", Will that work in a antec300?

I am not sure where the measurement starts from, but just using a tape measure in my case and and 11" comes very very close to the part of the internal frame for mounting hard drives. Does anyone have experience with mounting a card this size in a Antec 300 case?
