It says nickel matte is very inexpensive.
Plain white rice doesnt taste good at all, you need something else to go with the rice !!
Try making it fried rice or look up the recipe of dal in some indian cookery site. I don't know anything about making the rice sticky .. may be some jam would do the trick.

The problem IMO is not about children ... Some parts of India are landlocked .. the rest of the country gets water from rivers and oceans ..
Ironically there is a large population in these landlocked parts too ... So the govt there relies on ground water. But that is being changed I guess ...
And they have terrorist training camps .. They don't have rights for women, they dont have democracy .. they only speak one language, there religion, and culture on the whole cannot be defined for some nation(since there are multiple culture with in India, Assam and Tamilians), they are poor...
