Desktop graphic cards will continue to receive the most attention from makers because they are high value/high markup products, that users can buy more frequently.
Mobile devices are not the same beast. To go to the newest mobile graphics, a user needs to buy a new laptop, transfer over...
Zotac 660 is short, but 7.5" is about 190mm. If you look at the pics though it looks like the fan shroud is long just for aesthetic reasons. It might be able to be trimmed.

Well, a GT440 at entry level settings gets 37 fps according to toms. The GT440 has 96 stream procs at 810Mhz, the 210 has 16 stream procs at 520Mhz. His card has 1/6 the number of procs at 60% the speed per proc. The 210 also has 1/2 the memory at 40% of the speed of the 440.
To get the 210...
I doubt you want to run single channel memory so get 2 dimms. Definitely go with the Corsair PS over RAIDMAX.
I don't see an OS listed, what do you plan to run on it.
Zotac GTX 660 should work. Really good performance, needs only 1 6-pin connector, short card. Will outperform the 650ti by quite a margin.
On my i5 760 I run 1680x1050 ultra settings on BF3.
It is out of stock on newegg, but should be back in stock soon...
I always take the newegg reviews with a grain of salt, but it usually is the case that people overrate products. When 41% have had to RMA the product though, that is fairly telling.
I personally only have experience with a set of ballistix a friend of mine had. It did not run stably at...
Or you can read the newegg reviews on this set:
41% rate this set as poor or very poor, here are the bottom of the barrel reviews, with most of them being current.

If you are looking for a DSLR right now, the most bang for the buck is a used Canon EOS 10D.
With the 20D just coming out, LOTS of people are dumping theirs right now.
They are going for as little as $840.
The 10D is much better built than the Digital Rebel. It also has more features.
The...
Just a followup on the speed of this card.
I tested it on my home system which has an internal USB2 reader.
I got the following results:
Write: 4.5 MB/s
Read: 5.5 MB/s
Theoretically it performs at about 40x.
I have no other fast cards to test with, so I don't know if these are the...
I just posted it.
I do know that Frys had it + a $10 rebate last week.
That doesn't mean this isn't a good deal.
And it's not like you will actually get your Fry's rebates anyway, in my experience.
I averaged no better than 50% on my Fry's rebates over the 9 years I used to live in LA...
Officemax has an in-store deal going on digital cameras. (Thanks to Tripp1269 at FW for pointing it out.)
You get the S500 + a 12x Lexar CF card for $399.
Use the visa $10 off 75 coupon to get it down to $389.
Then a $15 rebate prints out at the register for the CF card.
That brings the...
That may be what they write, but it isn't accurate, and highly open to interpretation.
It states:
5. Does the 5-year warranty apply to products purchased just last week?
The warranty is retroactive to all eligible drives that were purchased from Seagate after July 26, 2004.
You "the end...
Check the serial number for the warranty length.
I asked someone at CUSA to check several drives to find a 5 year warranty one.
Out of 10 they had on the shelf, only 1 was 5 years.
The 1 years all started with 3LJ0.
The 5 started with 3LJ1.
I also noticed that the sku tag (looks like a...
Well this certainly is messy.
According to Seagate, after two call to them.
Put in the serial number and model number on their site and what it spits out is the truth.
Your purchase date has nothing to do with whether you get the 5 year warranty.
If it was shipped from Seagate after June 1, 2004...
How do you know this?
I ask since I would like to get in on this deal, but I haven't found any sign that these are 5 year warranty.
Their warranty FAQ states that all drives shipped from Seagate after June 1, 2004 have the 5 year warranty.
The date on the drive I bought was May 16th, so...
Note the warranty length on this deal.
It really is only 1 year.
I bought one at CrapUSA after being assured by the customer service person that all Seagate drives now have a 5 year warranty.
Put in the serial number at Seagate, the drive I bought only has 8 months left on it's warranty.

It looks like it is the new A64-like Athlon XP-M (see below).
It also looks like CPU-ID isn't updated to know it.
The good news is it appears to be socket 754, so you could at a later date possibly switch the CPU to an A64.

I think the difference is that most places stopped doing the promotion, or ran out of copies of farcry.
ZZF was backordered on FC for a while, but have them again, as I got this deal about a week ago.
mike
The ZZF price on the Neo Platinum is about as good as it gets right now.
To get the free copy of farcry, you do need to buy the A64 and mobo together.
mike
I recently did a deal similar to this from ZZF.
I bought the 3000+ with the Chaintech mobo.
Unless money is really tight I would recommend going with the more expensive MSI Neo Platinum/A64 combo to get the free copy of farcry.
My VNF3-250 was DOA, and not mysteriously DOA.
It came factory...
I was under the impression that it was established that Wayne Cashman was HawkeyeNJ's name.
But now it looks like that may or may not be true.
For some assinine reason the original messages about this from a year ago was deleted.
Oh well, hopefully it wasn't HawkeyeNJ, only the moderators will...
Well there is also the mention in the profile about not swearing, and the first link seems to support this too.
I hope he is fine, but it would be an incredible coincidence if it wasn't him.
Two Wayne Cashmans from the same area in NJ, who both were in the Screaming Eagles in the 60's.

The only Mag $80 rebates on their site are for 14 and 15" LCD's.
But the 17" one is listed as manufactured by Proview, but has the right model #.
Did Proview buy Mag?
Do BB.com rebates work for instore purchases?
Also only has a 50ms response time, but for $320 (if true) can't complain.

Dell has a 20% off memory in the Small business peripherals department.

(I didn't look at the other pictures on his site, I swear :-))
I haven't seen chromatic aberation problems like some claim.
What aspects of the S110's pictures did you think was better?
mike
I disagree with the picture quality statement above.
Reasons the S200 is cheaper:
1. Competition
2. 2MP CCD's are very inexpensive now
3. They have already recouped the costs of miniturizing a camera.
4. Competition
There really isn't much difference between the digital elph models.

I know there have been several threads about logitech refurbs at justdeals.
This is just a note to let others know that the Freedom Pro is in stock again at justdeals.com.
Refurbed $45.
Shipping is around $12.

I am considering buying this as a high zoom digicam to supplement my Canon G2.
I love the G2, but 10x zoom is not an option.
If you plan to do alot of full zoom pictures, it makes more sense to go for this 2MP camera at 10x optical than to use a higher MP camera with a lower optical zoom. You...
Ace,
A 4MP camera is not 3200x2400.
That is an 8MP camera.
My Canon G2 is 4MP, res is 2272x1704.
There is a difference between 4MP and 2MP at 8x10, but it is not as obvious at it would seem.
