I said its set to that "now". When i attempted to get up to 3.33 i had it around 1.29 showing on the BIOS HW monitor. Before it was 1.28 at 3.2 but the snag was hit at 3.33.
The RAM is is certified for 800mhz @ 2.0v, and ive lowered the ratio so it runs on just that.
My Vcore now is set to 1.26, though the HW monitor in the bios shows 1.23v
At the current 3ghz it idles at about 33c and goes up to 56c under full load, this is using the stock Intel heatsink and fan...
Right now im running my E6700 at 3ghz with a 1333mhz FSB and 9x multiplier.
But i want the beutiful 3.33ghz that so many people seem to reach and go beyond.
Whenever i try to run 333 with x10 multiplier it boots up fine and all but almost immediatly the second core causes an error in Prime95...
Its kind of funny really. The boards from the 775Dual-VSTA up to the 4CoreDual-SATA2 only officially support 2gb. But both the PT8800 Pro and PT880 Ultra chipsets are designed to support 4gb RAM.
Is the AGP and PCI-E frequencies independant of one another.
Like can one safely without risk set the PCI-E to 110-120 for a more stable CPU overclock if one is using an AGP card?
Has anyone been able to get a GeForce 9800GTX or an GTX280/260 working on one of these boards? I'm curious since i am ona 775Dual-VSTA now and want to start migrating to PCI-E, the first step being investing in a good GPU and then when ive scraped together a bit more cash, going for a really...
No i am in XP. The graphics card by default is actually set in the BIOS to 720/910 in both 2D and 3D mode and has also been confirmed by their tech support. Why HIS chose to do it like that is beyond me.
Appearantly HIS got the bright idea of setting the clock frequencies the same all across the board on the HD 3850 IceQ 3 Turbo AGP. Meaning that both the 2D and 3D clock frequencies are the same.
I still had a default profile i created with my RMA'ed Sapphire HD 3850 AGP which is basicly a...
Naturally, the 4CoreDual-SATA/4CoreDual-VSTA/775Dual-VSTA boards only support 2gb ram tops. for 4gb you need a modded bios, and to make sure the memory voltage dosen't exceed what the motherboard can provide.
Ive read some reviews that the "HIS HD 3850 AGP IceQ Turbo" may not be fully compatible with some Via chipsets.
I was wondering if anyone here is able to confirm if it will work or not with an Asrock 775Dual-VSTA/4coreDual-SATA2/4coreDual-VSTA?
Hi i'm new here.
I hope you guys dont mind me asking about the 775Dual-VSTA, seeing as the 4CoreDual-SATA2 is its direct replacement.
Does anyone know what the best RAM setup for optimal performance would be in terms of both frequency and timings?
I currently have 2gb of some cheap Crucial...
