Well, my SD1600 is working great.. and playing CD-R's as well w/o a hitch.. though, if I remember correctly it is not "supposed to." ;)
Definitely an excellent DVD player.. well worth $159 a while back at Lowe's.
This sub's only $99.99 on Egghead with free shipping. Same item sells for 169 on Amazon, and 159 on buy.com (plus s/h there) or more on other sites. So, it's a no brainer ;) Should be pretty decent for a low-end home theater system.
