Well you can cash a check at practically any bank, but if you're trying to deposit the check into an account you have with Chase then you'll have to go to a Chase branch.

Bank Question

Well, overdraft protection essentially means that if you overdraw your account then your bank will immediately pay the remainder of what is owed. However, most banks only cover you up to a certain amount, in my case it's $500 I believe. So if I were you, I wouldn't worry about it too much...

Dual boot question

Sure, just use a partition manager to remove (or reformat) the partition XP is using. Then when you're installing Windows 7 just recreate the partition. After the installation, Vista will be dual-booting with Windows 7, and XP will be no more.

Yep, CentOS is based on the same source code as Red Hat Enterprise and is updated with stability in mind, unlike Fedora which is updated to be fairly "bleeding edge."

That looks like it may be the case:(. I think you should try what Quiksilver recommended and use Boot and Nuke to wipe the hell out of that drive. Otherwise I'm just about out of ideas.

Well you're going to need to use some sort of partitioning program. Something like Gparted or Paragon Partition Manger might work: Gparted, Paragon. With Gparted you would have to burn it to a disc and boot from it, and Paragon can be installed to and run from Windows.

Newbie memory question: is CL6 worth having?

Well I run my Kingston DDR2-667 at 5-5-5-15 (CL-tRCD-tRP-tRAS), which is up from 4-4-4-12 @ 533mhz, and I haven't noticed it feeling any slower. So I can't imagine CL6 would feel any slower, really, except for in benchmarks.

8800 GTX FPS (CSS)
