i just put two systems together with
2000XP
cpu temps ok
gigabyte 7VRXP
512MB pc2700
SB audigy
power color 8500LE 128mb radeon
Enermax 450watt p/s
running 2 maxtor 40gig on raid
windows XP
both these systems run great in 2d
but on each one as soon as a 3D game is played it crashes.
it reboots...
well on a asus p5-99vm, i had all the plugs in the same way,
and the hdd light would not work.
i just turned the plug around and it worked.
just my 2 cents
well you both have too different motherboards as well,
some boards for the k6 need some tweeking,
update your agp driver?
go to your bios and disable agp turbo or agp 2x to 1x
you both have very cheap video cards and your cheap card might not work well with your chipset.
buy the voodoo3 2000 pci...
