i just got a hannspree 28 inch hf289h today and was all excited then i turned on my starcraft game and it's like 8 inches by 8 inches or something.. i ran other games and they all run fine.. i have a gt8500 card and i'm running 1900x 1200 or something.. i switched res to low settings and game...
it's an hp elite case.. i think the case fan size should be 80.. i hooked a 120 into it lol, only asking because the blue led in it would light up the wall in my comp room =O
my setup is ok now but i have a bright led case fan in it and i have a desk fan . i'm wondering if taking the side off the case is better? is this something that is safe to do? the side that would be off would be by the wall ( not able to be open to stuff touching it).. is the cooling possibly...

i currently have 8500 gt in it.. i have a 380 watt antec earthwatts 380 80+ psu.. what vid card can i just swap out of it now at a decent deal that is fine with the amount of power i have now...
i have an acer 22 widescreen i got a year and a half ago.. it's cool for now i'll be in the market for a 24 inch this black friday or w/e.. with the video card am i able to just swap it out with 8500 gt and that's it? should i be worried about installation,power or other compatibility issues?
