MBM can read the cpu temp just fine. fanGUI seems to be written mostly for Dell laptops, hence it does not work on my Eurocom. I was curious if anyone knew of any other software similar to fanGUI.
fanGUI reads the cpu temp. When a user defined temp is reached it turns on the laptops fan. I used it with great success on Dells. It will not pick up the temp of the laptop (Eurocom) cpu that I now have.
I have tried Motherboard Monitor and it does see the cpu temp but it is not a software...
Seems fanGUI is mostly for a Dell system. Does anyone know of any other software that I can use to control fans when a certain temp is reached. I have a eurocom laptop and fanGUi doesnt pick up the cpu temp. Thanks
Been away for sometime and a little out of touch. Just tried to use Kazaa and downloaded the 2.5 version. I sure dont like this version. What are you all useing these days?
Just took out my XP2000+ Palomino core and put in a XP1700+ B core. Wow, this thing can oc like crazy! Tried it at 12.5x 166.92= 2086 and it ran just great. Not needing to oc that much I backed it down to 10.5X166.92 -1752 mhz and it is running great.
My question is this: I use a Gigabyte...
well right now I am running 12.5x140=1750 I think I may be able to get 150 in bios setting for 12.5x150=1875. Might have to keep my eye open for a nice Thoro "B" core.
There is no way in gods green earth this thing will boot if I set the dips at 166! I have a XP2000+ (Palomino core) If I set the multiplier dips at default and the fsb dips at 133 it will boot and run just fine at 12.5x133= 1662.5 I then can go into bios and slowly inch up the fsb. Right...
Ok, its pretty obvious how to set multipliers manually on the dips on the
GA-7VAXP up to 12.5x. Question is, can one go to higher multiples ie: 17x,
18x? If so what is the combinations/dips used? Or is there a decent site to read
about higher end multpliers for the GA-7VAXP?
Thanks for the tips. I now have MBM set up and will run it I guess. Its funny because on my last Asus board I had cpu temps of about 43*C and now with this Gigabyte board and with the exact same hardware my cpu temps are about 32-33*C ! I get these same cpu temps with MBM, the Gigabyte utility...
Curious as to what you are all using and whats out there that is worthy of trying? I dont care much for Motherboard Monitor and the Gigabyte Utility is annoying.
Well I tried everything and no way this thing would come to life! Finaly lucked out and found a local with the same board that was toast so I picked up the board, swapped out the bios chip and away we went! All seems well now. Does anyone know a place I could send my old bios chip to and have...
Flashed bios on a A7V133 and all went well. It said flash was successfull. I
powered down and went to start up again and the computer will not boot!
Looks like it is booting ie: cdrom, cdrw. floppy etc lights flash like
normal and then there is a beep (one beep) and the computer just shuts down...
I recently flashed my Latitude CSx bios frpm A08 to the recent A13. Bios screens look
a fair bit different. Had 3 bios screens with A08 and now have 6 with A13. I
always wondered about speedstep on the CSx, almost all said it was not
supported. However in the new A13 bios I notice under "Power...
Ok, I am presently researching an upgrade to my laptops cpu. Presently it uses a Micro PGA2 PIII fixed core cpu. I know if I replace it with a PGA2 SpeedStep cpu then it will only run at the lower cpu speed. My question is what determines if the capability for SpeedStep is used? Motherboard...
hehe Sorry, I guess I did make that sound confusing. I know what the MAC address is for the wireless card in my laptop. I just dont know what settings to use for "connection control" and "Association Control"

Hello, I wonder if someone can help out in trying to configure MAC address on my wireless set up. The link above shows exactly what I am trying to achieve. I have a DI-713P and a Wireless card in my laptop. My...
I am not usually attracted to that style of music but must say that song was indeed well done. I really enjoyed listening to it. Keep up the great work!

Any ideas when I double click on a .avi file, windows media player opens but my system almost comes to a complete standstill and cpu usage is pegged at 100% ?? The movie file never does start to play. Any ideas? I am using xp pro, TBird 1.3, 768 mb memory etc....
How does one get rid of an account they no longer want? Never use it and it just fills up with mega junk. Do I just leave it be and they will shut it down once it gets jammed packed or is there a way to terminate that account?
well when my son was young and one of his goldfish died it took him about a week to notice! hehe Actually I would tell your son. That age is young to learn about certain things in life but I would take this oppurtunity to start and explain it to your young son. Good luck.
Anyone ever see one of these/use one of these? Its a 350watt max generator. Very small, light and portable. What would the limit for this be, a drill, jig or small circular saw, small heater/small baseboard type heater or just a few lights etc?
I deal with these little hoodlum thieves on a daily basis. Its sad the courts tend to set them free with very little punishment. I do however believe what goes around, comes around. They will get thiers someday!
Wellbutrin a few years ago as an aid to stop smoking. Goofed me up bigtime, sweaty, shakes etc etc. Recently was on Lipidil for high cholestrol and had a reaction after being on it for a month. My feet were swollen, felt like you cut golf balls in half and stuck them in my shoes, arches of my...
Well I have a tough time sitting through a baseball game, not enough action in it for me. I hear the average salary is a mere 2.4 million so I guess they feel they are hard done by and need to strike! :)
Well not sure where you live and how the laws are in your area but here we have a thing called "Guilty with an explanation" . Many of our fine citizens that get tagged appear in court and use this. They are simply saying yes, I was speeding but........................and then lay out some kind...
