ATX Power Supply - won't turn off

I know for a fact that all newer Epox MOBOs support keyboard on, and this feature allows you to turn on the computer by touching any key in the keyboard and turn it on, have you tried to enable/disable it? Also maybe your power on button is stuck in the always on contact position. Good luck.

Need site for MS NT server ed....

I'm getting a new job soon and I need a site for learning as much as possible about MS NT Server 4 and possibly Exchange 5, what I need is not a troubleshooting site, but rather a step by step do it learn it yourself starting guide. Any good comments?

Is there a difference between ATA/100 and Ultra ATA/100?

that is the ANSI name for IDE. And ATA means Advanced Technology Attachment.

use the DVD's digital output into the SB xgamer card's digital input, stay with analog to the plextor drive, to be able to hear sound from the dvd you need to enable it in the sound blaster control panel, another option is to use the aux input in the card for the dvd. My suggestion is to stay...

What kind of ram for Mac?

The G4 cube uses PC100 SDRAM, unless you're sure that your PC66 ram is very good quality I wouldn't use it given that those macs sound pretty flaky (no fans at all, remember?). On another issue I don't remember if they use registered or unregistered ram, on second tought.

what's wrong with my DVD Rom drive

If you do not have any problems, but those chapters it might be that the disc is dirty (fingers prints, peanut butter and jelly, etc. :-)) Clean it and may be try it with another dvd player, may be a house player for a change, it might also be that the disc is defective, good luck.

Thanks Mem, I do have PCI slot 1 next to AGP open. As far as AGP 2x I will try that next I guess it wouldn't hurt as the card is not able to take advantage of AGP 4x anyway. I bought another stick of 128Mb and going to see if anything changes as well. Did't this mobo suffered from voltage...

ABIT KA7-100 SDRAM timings and Virtual Channel memory timings

It's stated in the ABIT's website that the KA7 and KA7-100 doesn't support VC memory. Check them out.

2 Strikes, and I'm still batting. Any Coaches available?

I have exactly the same mobo/cpu but different vid card and memory, my suggestion is to unplug the cpu and then put it back and try using different memory brand, this mobo is know for being very picky about memory.

Ditto brijesh33, your problem might just happent to be your ATI Xpert card (assuming it is based on the 128 Rage or Rage Pro chip), this card is very picky. You need to get lattest drivers from ATI, make sure you have Direct X 7.0a or later and latest AGP driver from VIA (not IDE thoug). Disable...

Cyrix overheat problem?

Heat would be definetly an issue, may be a frozen fan or clogged vent, but only if you had the system up and running from 5 to 10 mins. it would probably give you errors and BSODs before shutting down or rebooting, and then if you tried to restart it again without giving it time to cool down it...

Does Sodimm EDO DIMM for laptop need to be installed in pair?

you shouldn't need to, that's why it is called DIMM Dual Inline Memory Module. Which means that two banks are already paired in the module. Correct me if I'm wrong.
