I forgot to mention that this gig will also get me a Secret level clearance, which I've been told is pretty valuable assuming it comes through. It should since I have a clear record as far as I know.
If I'm making about what I should be for an entry-level penetration tester, then that's good news to me! I was just regretting screwing up the negotiation and potentially losing out on ~$10k this year.
