In my case though, the guy not only bought my cpu or ram, but essentially the entire system (cpu, mobo, ram).
I understand that not everyone has a Micro Center near them, but they can still find very good deals at Fry's or look for deals online.
Something I found puzzling:
I recently sold my 5 year old system on here and eBay:
e8400 core2duo + Asus p5q-pro mobo + 4gb ddr2 = 190 shipped
4gb ddr2 = 45 shipped
total = 235-20 = 215 net after shipping costs
bought:
i5-2500k + gigabyte z68 mobo = 201 after tax (microcenter deal)...
Thanks for the replies.
I have flashed the bios and so far no boot loop. Hopefully it stays this way.
Additionally, I have another question concerning something else so that I don't have to start a new thread:

Apple's once a year cycle no longer cuts it? Are you kidding me? Apple has not released a new phone in much longer than a year now and it is still the #1 selling phone on all carriers it's available on. If Apple wanted to, I'm sure they could keep the current iPhone4 for another .5-1...
Seems strange that Samsung doesn't have an IPS monitor given that they are one of the biggest display manufacturers in the world?
All I hear about is the Dell and HP IPS monitors, and Asus and LG have started in this area not too long ago. Am I missing something?
Just bought a new Logitech wired illuminated thin keyboard from newegg.
On its second day of use, the bottom right part of the keyboard became super hot and part of the plastic melted, burning the crap out of my hand a bit. Fortunately, no serious injuries.
Later, I removed the keyboard...

SAPPHIRE 100282XTREME Radeon HD 5850 Xtreme 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card with Eyefinity
I don't think my video card came with a DVI - HDMI adapter =( any specific one I need to be looking for?
Can someone please help explain how I can connect 3 U2311H's to this card?

The U2311H is DVI & DP only
So it leaves the HDMI as the issue... is there a certain kind of adapter I need? Because I have a displayport to HDMI adapter, which I tried...
