Alpha Pal6035 and XP+Mobile2600

I have the same chip & HS and I've been fine all the way up to 11.0 x 420fsb with that cooling. It just hits 49C under load. I am just about to buy a 60->92mm fan adapter & a panaflo to get the same (or more) cooling for less noise than my 5500rpm HS fan (not sure what brand.) But...

Help! Winrar is flaky on Tbird900/KT7 system.

I have a Tbird900 oc-ed to 1036mhz and my winrar 2.71 randomly claims that a few of the rar files I'm trying to unrar are corrupt. If I try to unrar them again, it often claims a different group of the files are corrupt. All the files are fine and unrar fine on my Pii-400mhz beater. Any ideas...

Newbie: Is my RAM CAS2 or CAS3?

Need your advice on reviving my Cyrix 166's dead mobo

Not sure how else to explain this guys, but I have tried booting with NO memory in the mobo. None. Not even a single simm. The mobo is not getting to the mem. check. I'm screwed, aren't I? Anyone know where I could try to track down a replacement mobo for the Cyrix 166+ chip? It's circa 1996.

Thanks guys, but I really don't think it is a memory issue. I have 2 32MB simms, and have tried either one of them in the first slot. I've tried it with no memory, to see if the mobo would at least give me an "put the damn memory in fool" error. Nothing. I've unplugged the mouse...
