21 inch compaq monitor

Oh the staples at my city had one Sony 21inch flat screen (with the famaliar two fine lines across the screen) for $499. The manager has said it will be going down a few notches. The monitor looks awesome though those lines...I'd rather not buy it for that price.

You guys better try staples at your places, I just picked up an NEC 17 Multi 75 for $199. And I saw a compaq 19 inch for 299. They got it marked down and on clearances. May be a hot deal

Staples: Free Maxtor Controller Card Back!!

Shouldn't be, on pricewatch it was adverted as 7200RPM, I got two HDDs so far, matter of fact where I bought mine from they charged me 159.94 (originally 179.95) for a 40GB 7200Rpm hdd.

Opinion on NEC AS95F 19" monitor? is this a deal?

Don't even buy that monitor, check it out locally at staples, the CS guy himself showed me how much the monitor sucked. Personally I have an Amptron GS17 I'd rather go buy another one of these puppies, its cheap and excellent quality.
