What happened to the P55 Roundup?

Not sure if this is the right place for this (sorry if it isn't). But didn't Anandtech have a massive P55 roundup coming up? I know it may have been thrown off schedule because of a few technical issues but the P55 has been out for awhile now, I figured there would be roundup out. Sorry...

What heatsinks are you using for Socket 1156?

I'll jump on this advice train :) Trying to grow about 6 different herbs (cilantro, thyme, rosmary, basil, etc) in two planter boxes. The person at the nursery suggested keeping the soil moist. Should I just touch the top soil and water if it's dry or should I assume that the dirt underneath...

Windows explorer forcing me to loging as guest

So I open Windows Explorer and type in \\COMPUTERNAME\c$ or e$ for the two hard drives. It forces me to login as COMPUTERNAME\Guest with the drop down being greyed out. I'd like to login as COMPUTERNAME\Username with Username being the username that I use to log in and is an administrator...

So I've heard from a lot of mac enthused friends to "wait for the 2nd rev of apple products". It always makes sense to wait. So typically how long does it take for a 2nd rev to come out? 6 months? a year? I know it all depends of a myriad of things but is there a good ballpark number...

Questions for renters.

We were able to negotiate our rent for a large apartment complex. 5 floors probably 10 apts per floor. We just said we can only afford x. She said no at first but called us later to say x was fine. Depends on the market I guess.

Are there any tangible benefits of going with a larger bank like Wells Fargo over a local lender? Their rates are the same and the local lenders closing costs are a little bit lower but negligible.
