Best game I've played in a long stretch. If you have any interest in cRPGs at all, it's a must have. Now lets hope Pillars of Eternity holds up well on release this winter and I'll be in gaming heaven.

What is next after Skyrim?

I highly recommend the Requiem mod. Frustratingly difficult early on, great satisfaction for sticking with it as your power grows. I couldn't complete it on vanilla with the unsatisfactory creature/loot leveling. Boring IMO. Requiem makes it more cRPG.

Replaying X-Com now. It's just as much fun as it was back in the day. Hell, the graphics don't even bother me. Well, I still hate tracking down that last hiding alien though... ugh.

New i5-2500K Running Hot

Almost 100% positive it'll be your heatsink. Is it one of the pushpin models? I always have a heck of a time getting them set properly. Life is much easier for me with a back plate, screw in variant.

Nope. As a gamer, I'm still running my q9550@3.4 with a single gtx280 form 2008. I'm able to play everything I want on higher settings. I'm just going to pick up something like a 7850 or one of the 670/660ti type cards and stretch out a complete system upgrade until the new consoles hit...

Any update on the 7870?

No gamepad here. One of the major reasons I can't stand playing on a console is because of the gamepads. I hate using them on anything but sports games...which become incredibly boring very quickly. And I love my Naga.

skyrim is goty

Skyrim is the most fun I've had gaming in a loooong time. Yep, it has it's problems, some due to the massiveness of the game itself, some just poor decisions by Bethesda (UI/inventory/scaling loot...could have been done much better). Overall though, what a great time! Most games I've tried...

Mists of Pandaria looks like the best WOW Expansion yet

It seems to me by making the game more "accessible," they've removed the game part. Seriously, what is the point of leveling a character anymore? They should just give you a semi-equipped lvl 85 when you log on. No need for a world either. Nothing happens in the world anyway and you rarely...

I didn't like Oblivion (level scaling killed it and after that, modding it wasn't even an option for me), but can't remember having as much fun playing a game as I'm having with Skyrim.
