So the only thing better about the small silver capacitors and the older tall ones is there reliability then I guess. glad my second Jasper has them then.

Yes it is still a Jasper. If you want to make sure get a flashlight and look through the vents behind the fan. It really hard to see but you can see the sticker that says Jasper right below the right fan. Also just check you conector on the xbox itself. and reference the pictures a few pages back.
Found a Jasper Arcade today. Team FDOU Lot# 0842X Manufactured 10-14-2008. Still came with the 175 Watt power brick, but says 12.1a on the console. Also Checked through the vent holes by the Fans with a flashlight and could see the sticker that says Jasper on it.
