There is some possible vacation but the show is booked solid until next Summer at present. We do go through Seattle next February so I'll be able to see family, but otherwise, it's the road, 8 shows a week with a day off (or travel day) on Monday.
Not the horse this time around. Among other things I get to wear a saucy bowler at a jaunty angle. Woot.

I think that's the key here. I bet I would be freaked out -until I knew what was going on-. The Mayor, if what he says is true, didn't know that the training was happening until that day, and made a knee-jerk reaction. I don't think it was a great reaction, but he, for whatever reason...
While I'd like to give him credit for calling an end to whatever attack folks are mustering, it's just another move in the chess game. Politics is yuck.
It's overboard, yeah, but on par with things like the reaction to that CNN clip where it "sounded" like a zipper, Janet Jackson's wardrobe "malfunction", the Dean Scream. The list goes on and on.
There are some good scented oils at the body shop. Either get a little tea candle thing or get a ring to put on a lamp. A few drops of the oil, light the candle (IKEA has like 100 for $3 or some insane thing) or turn the light on and you get things smellin purty-like.
