Mine is working very well with ICS installed. I do like and still use webOS but cm9 is a big leap forward IMHO

CM9 Alpha for HP Touchpad...

Same here, I have the .06 on a 32gb TP and the bricked Rom and Kernel on my 16 and I think there is a very noticeable difference.

What tablet are you using?

TouchPad, I had been dual booting it since CM7 was ported. I found I used webOS far more, so I uninstalled Android a couple hours ago. May sell my Samsung Galxey Tab since I rarely use it.

Tweaking your HP Touchpad

there is a preware patch to make Hulu work. need to add the testing feeds to get it, works fine for me. Had to clear the browser of cookies etc then reboot before it worked. Installed preware and OC'ed it installed the various patches, stopped all the logging etc: this thing really...

Who's bought a TouchPad so far?

I walked out of Walmart with a 16gb unit on Sat morning. I've been messing with it and it's OK especially for the price. I will put back in the box now and wait for Android to be ported over for the touchpad. I have my SGT to use meanwhile.

HP TouchPad 16GB - $99.

That's what I had to do. The store had 16 and 32 gb units, but the 32 is sold out online so I could only do the pick-up today in store on the 16gb unit. Picking it up shortly, took about 1/2 hr to get the e-mail confirmation for in store pick up. The 32gb unit rang up as 489.00

I'm giving up on smart phones - I'm going old school (flip phone)

Dump Verizon and activate the phone on PagePlus Cellular. They will activate any Verizon phone except Blackberrys. The 1200 min, 1200 text, 50mb data plan is $29.99 per month, more than I will ever use. I just bought a 6 month old perfect shape HTC Eris Android phone on Craig's list...

Synthetic or regular oil in motorcycle

I have always used synthetic oil in all my motorcycles, never switched away from it so I can't comment on that part of it. Most ppl will tell you that you will get better results in the long term with the synthetic oil. Rotella T is my choice, you can get it at Wally World for a decent...

For a first bike it is always a good idea to buy used. You will drop the bike in the garage, driveway, or somwhere in the first 6 months. Everyone does, if they tell you different they a very rare case, or they are not being honest with you. Bikes, new ones in particular are a luxury item...

New toy!

try this when you make the 1st to 2nd shift........... when you lift the shifter to go into 2nd gear, keep the upward pressure on the lever until after you release the clutch. this will almost always keep you from missing the shift. no, it will not hurt the transmission or anything else.

the 250 will be a excellent starter bike. If you can find a susuki GS500E or F don't hesitate, they are also a very good starter bike, and somewhat under rated and therefore under priced. hard to go wrong with either

YAW7T: What drivers is everyone using?

I'm running a IP35E as well. W7 64 bit did not install drivers for: Marvell Yukon ethernet controller HP 7550, but Vista didn't either SM bus controller everthing else was installed and working I went to device manager and updated the drivers for the 2 controller using the Abit CD
