I think it is pretty much garaunteed to max out CCC at 1050mhz. With a little bit of luck you might be able to do 1100 at stock volts. I think between 1175mhz and 1200mhz with more volts tends to be the average limit for most people which is still a pretty ridiculous overclock.

Actually I don't play bf3 at all lol. I just got back into PC gaming. I did upgrade my GTS 250 to a 7850 to play diablo but the game is still a laggy unoptimized pile of poo poo.

I've already mentioned how I gained 10 frames on my minimum frame rate in mafia 2 just by overclocking my memory. minimum frame rate is just as important if not more so in real world gaming.
This comment really bothers me because it's incongruiint with my findings. In 3dmark11 I got a graphics score of 6392 @ 1125/1300 and compared my score @ 1100/1375 and found I got 6401. I bumped my clocks to 1125/1375 and my score is 6511! So memory does make a difference.
I don't play BF3 multiplayer and I hear that starcraft multiplayer is also brutal on CPUs but as far as my 7850 goes, i pretty consistently reach 99-100% GPU usage on load when playing games and benching so i have no idea how much my Q is actually bottlenecking my card.
Loll we have almost identical cards. My card kept throttling everytime I tried to push it so I settled on 1125 core and that extra 25mhz actually makes a huge difference for me believe it or not. What kind of fan profile do you guys have setup with your card?

7850 has twice the vram and is much faster, not to mention quieter, cooler and consumes less power. When the time comes and you can't play that game smoothly, you'll be crying about not spending that extra $30 but hey atleast you can drink that beer to wash your sorrows away.
