CUSL2 only detects 384Mb, not 512Mb

I know the CUSL2 only supports 512Mb ram, but are the last two DRAM slots single sided only or something? One of my 256Mb PC133 DIMMS is only detected as 128, not 256. These same two DIMMs were detected as 512Mb in a P3V4X. Any ideas?

Abit BE-6 II / ATA66 Controller problems

I had the same prob - First off, definitely get the newest HPT drivers, then I had to take everycard out of my case (except video, of course)and booted windows. I had to install pci cards one by one. But after that, the board was rock solid.

My GeForce 256 locks up in 3D accelerated programs (OpenGL & D3D). Please help.

There's a thread over in the Motherboards forum that I think solves this (it did for me) I was using a single 256MB PC133 stick, and someone discovered that if they used two 64Mb PC100 sticks, their problems went away. So I tried adding another 256MB PC133 stick and voila! no morre hang ups...

Help! Prob w/Asus P3V4X

I can't believe that that was the problem - I'd still like to know why it did run fine for a week or two, but today when I put in a 2nd 256Mb stick, the problem went away.I tried using 100Mhz instead of 133, i tried relaxing all of the timings, and I tried turning all the other DRAM options...

I've got a 300W supply, that should be plenty, but mine still locks up consistantly as soon as I start a game. The irritating thing is, it worked perfect for a couple weeks when I first put it in - turned out I still had HPPT66 drivers from my BH6-r2 installed, and all the BX chipset drivers...

I too still have problems, although the soundcard being replaced still was a very good thing. I can tweak the control panel setting all I want, no prblems, but the GeForce locks up as soon as I play a 3D game. AGP 2x/4x fastwrites on/off make no difference. When you removed the soundcard, did...

please help!!!!!!! what case to buy?

ATACOm sells an InWin case, FT 300W supply for $85 Needs fans, but its a good design (Same one 3DCOOL uses for its tornado FT case, just with out two holes drilled into the side panel for two extra fans) Lots of room, still relatively cheap.

I thought this M/B worked well with GeForce...

Umm... maybe I was on the wrong track. Suddenly it appears to be my Turtle Beach Montego2 Quadzilla. I was running fine for a while with newest Aureal drivers, and when I went to Quadzilla drivers (so I can have rear speaker out) the system hung the instant anything tried to make a sound...
