I recently had a BenQ XL2430T for a month and do not remember seeing 24, 30, 50Hz settings on that monitor which I think is required (fps min) for FS. But I am that knowledgeable on 120hz monitors.
New NEC 32" 4K 120Hz monitor, also looks like possibly FS with the multi refresh rates.

Bios update possible fix...
Sohaltang, The highest temp I got was 73F running Heaven at 1225/1550 fan set at 100% as seen in the log above. the whole log looked just like you see it in those 3 screen shots and its not a long log in GPUz. It does not match to how long Heaven runs. I also ran MSI AB with MSI AB graph open on...
Sohaltang, I ran Heaven for you to see and took a few screen shots for you below, I overclocked my Tri -X 290 to 1225/1550 ran Heaven and logged it while Heaven was running.
@ F2F I will remove these images tomorrow, sorry about the kind of OT per Heaven
Sohaltang, I tested my Tri-X 290 and overclocked it in Trixx to 1225/1550, 1200/1550 and 1175/1550 and tested each of those those in Heaven and Heaven reported the correct exact overclocks for each overclock, so for me Heaven reports exact correct overclocks that I set/oc to in Trixx.
F2F one last question, does Heaven report the correct boost clock on Nvidia cards?
Also post back on your findings after testing your card clocks with the stock BIOS.
Ok wait a minute here:) Just so I am clear on this, when I over clocked my GTX 770 MSI Gaming card with PX (1288/1880)if I remeber correctly I could have sworn both MSI AB OSD while gaming in BF4 and Valley reported these exact same boost clocks. So are you saying those were not the actual in...
What is Valley reporting, a higher or lower clock speed on the 900 series and by about how much? How long before this will be corrected do you think by Unigine in your opinion?
TIA
Boozzer, if your going to overclock I would go with the Tri-X 290 for the Hynix memory and the Tri-X cooler for cooling the GPU and vrms. The Gigabyte cooler is not one of the better coolers in this regard when overclocking from what I remember reading (imo) from reviews awhile back. If your...
I don't know of any, but for now until someone post one (if there is one)you can look at Anandtech BM's in AT's review of the custom Tri-X 290 oc and see how it is close to the AMD reference 290x in AT's BM's per link below. Then just look at Anandtechs EVGA GTX FTW 970 and compare it to the AMD...
Ok I researched a little for AIB custom 290 cards running crossfire for temps with decent ambient temps and this the only AIB 290 CF review I have found so far with GPU temps. The thing is he doesn't mention ambient temps but of course I would assume for sure is lower than your ambient temps...
LOL ^ :)
Kar, if you read my post I said a used Trix -X 290 for $150-$175.00 on e-bay in a month or so, a used Tri-X 290 just sold for $200 a few days ago. LOL, I know I could be pushing it a little :) but do think we will start to see used ones in the next month or so for under $200.00...
Ok your gpu's were hitting higher temps than what I expected, I was wondering if you had a fan custom profile at +10% fan speed over temps forcing that 80% percentage.
I was overclocking my 290 game testing temps when I first got it (oc 1175/1550/1.23v) and used a custom fan profile under...
X3sphere, on your Tri -X 290 CF when your cards hit 80% fan speed were you running a custom fan profile and if so what was your fan custom profile settings?
Also what is your case fan setup and GPU temps per above?
The reason I ask is I discovered something was surprising to me (in a...
S, just for the record I when I said I agree perfect pricing that was for his quote of $249-$269 pricing.
I could see the dual fan cards at $249.00 and the triple fan PCS+ & Tri -X's a little higher than $249.00 and at those prices would be harder decision for a GTX 970 or a AIB 290 for quite...
I agree and I am thinking in the next month around $150.00 -$175.00 for AIB 290's on e-bay and was pricing some PS's today. But I want to try to wait for the 980Ti and 390 just to see pricing/performance at this point and I wouldn't need a PS.
Tri-X 290 sold $200.00 starting :)...
Yes they dropped 7950 which I think was like $449.00 on release to $189.00. I think at this point if they drop AIB 290 to about $249.00 and the AIB 290X to $299.00 they will sell well and at the very least I think the AIB 290 will imo.
NP, also just so you know (in case you don't) there will be two core clock settings in MSI AB settings to mark with a check since your running SLI to monitor both GPU's.
One other thing I opened my Heaven and here are the exact settings to use.
When you heaven use the following settings.
Tessellation- Extreme
Preset-Custom
Full Screen-check the box
Resolution - set your resolution
Anti -Aliasing x8
Just so you know you will not have to use MSI AB...
