I installed the lifehacker approach: http://lifehacker.com/5360150/install-snow-leopard-on-your-hackintosh-pc-no-hacking-required
I am sending and pulling from a Shuttle SA76G2... (MARVELL 88E8057) connected to a SansDigital 16TB Raid 5 via a rocketraid 2314.
I have also tried to my MacBook...
Does anyone here actually have a true GB Lan using the onboard Lan of the hacintosh using the UD3P board or an add on NIC?
I have yet to achieve speeds of 60MBs for more than a second or two... It drops to 10MBs or less very quickly...
Please help.
I might get 60MB for about a second then it drops to then it drops down to maybe 10MBs then down to 1.5KBs and then back to 3MBs...
I never have anything steady above 19MBs
Does anyone have true GB Lan using the onboard Lan or adapter card on the EP45-UD3P?
I have been looking everywhere to figure this out... but the fastest I can get is in the very low 100MB speeds..
Please help!
Just curious if any one has used this drive to rip Blu Rays on their hacintosh... I am not looking to pay Blu Rays on my Hac... I would just like to rip them and store them on my drobo...
Any other BD-ROM recommendations?
Thanks Mosslack...

Little help please?
Are there any drivers out there... the will work with Mirror Mode Enabled? As of now... my secondary display works but my main display goes blank and displays an arrow cursor.
Hey Kaido...
I know you said you were going to post an update for the UD3P board... But is there anything specific that would be done differently than the DS3L package...
I have my hack built... just waiting for the memory to show up tomorrow!
I am just curious about bios settings...

Do you think we might hear from your friend today? That would be great.... finally all of my parts would be available on newegg! It would be a miracle.

I just wanted to take the time to to thank.... Kaido, leglez, and Zaap, for their video card advice... As I am ultimately looking for a dual dvi video card that can be used in dual view mode with 100% functionality in 10.5.5 and/or 10.5.6. (No flickers, static or reset issues)
I have two...
Zaap.... Thanks for your reply.
If you could find out the model numbers.... I would really appreciate it. 10.5.6 works okay?
There are two eVGA 8600 GTS on newegg now... eVGA 8600 GTS cards
There are no 8800GTSs
Thanks
Ok.... I am sorry to be a pest.... But I need someone's help. I am planning on ordering parts for my hackintosh.... I am going to be using Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3P using leopard with 10.5.5 or 10.5.6. I need a video card that will be 100% using dual dvi to support dual monitor use in photoshop...
Thanks again for your advice...
If this machine is to be my "Main Photoshop "Work"station" should I invest in the EFI-X chip? I know nothing is for certain... I would just like to be able to run updates without the worry of my computer not working.
Thanks again for your help.
Thanks for your reply randomlinh....
My budget is for the hackintosh only.... I already have two Eizo CE240Ws.
I am using Portraiture 2... still takes quite a bit of time process images.
I would prefer not to have to OC... but I am looking for the best performance for my money.
Thanks
I would like to keep it around $700 without the cost of OSX... Based on the positive responses, I think I would like to use the Q6600. But I am open to your opinions.
John
Hey Kaido...
Thank your for the incredible resource of Leopard Soup! I am anxious to see the updated v1.1 (this Saturday?)
I am very anxious to build a Hackintosh using you tutorial... But I am hoping you or others may be able to advise me on the best hardware options for the best...
