I have a family member who's looking to do some video editing using mostly free software. What would you guys suggest would be the minimum graphics card for this application? I imagine most free applications won't have any gpu acceleration.
I apologize if this has been asked already but how does 1080p look on a single monitor? Some say it should look perfect and others say it will still look terrible.

No, it's ok for preliminary testing at best. I can't tell you how many times I've had a "stable" overclock in furmark only to get artifacts/crashes during 3dmark or some other benchmark.
And why should those who pay all that money for "uber high end hardware" have to wait? Lets not forget that this is a TWIMTB title as well. With ubersampling sli seems to do nothing.

The case itself is pretty quiet, by setting the intake fans to low you can barely hear it. The 580's will never be super quiet unfortunately, but it's tolerable(summer may be a different story). Glad you liked it!
