I bought a Asus Turbo 2080 Ti this past Saturday and it crashes everytime a game launches... Sent it in for RMA today. No one has any 2080 Tis in stock and I'm wondering if a regular 2080 will serve my needs instead
It is true the interior is lacking in the Model S, (my Mini JCW uses nicer materials). However, I went into the Tesla not so much for the interior but for the drivetrain. It's not a Dodge Shadow inside or anything, I'm sure most Tesla owners bought theirs for similar reasons.
That's where people screw up, thinking they have to buy up a house in order to enjoy a nicer car. I love my house just fine, it's modest, cheap, appreciated so much (up +250k since remodel when I bought it in the bottom of the market in 2011). Still would love a 3rd car garage, but whateves...
Vipers are still one of my favorite cars of all times. Loves how it still breaks records with it's "low tech" style. Embarrasses cars costing ten times as much.
I do wondering how they plan on cooling this engine in a truck, but then again I don't see any Raptors actually towing anything... Just mall crawlin' ;)
The proportions are all off, too much body not enough glass. Looks like it's squinting... However out of the three (Mustang, Camaro, Challenger) it is the best performing.
lol I do have two kids, they're 8 and 5 years old. Yes, not paying for child care was a huge boon for us this year (my youngest started kindergarten this year). Saves us about 650 a month in what we were paying last year.
Rolex is totally worth it IMO. Never get tired of wearing it. I'm...
This thread is kinda funny, it's almost like it's directed at me.
In 2014 I bought my first Rolex a YachtMaster with the blue face. Been wanting a Rolex forever and this one fit my needs and looked terrific. I paid cash for it. It was a grey market model, so instead of paying $11500 new...
A couple of years I looked at a Triumph Speed Triple (ended up going with a Monster 1200S). While the Triumph was a good ride, I found the fit and finish to be quite lacking on the Triumph (especially compared to a Ducati which aren't really known for fit and finish). Sounded interesting...
Shit yeah I do an occasional burnout. In my Mini JCW, Old Monster, and definitely my new Panigale. Been doing them since I was 16 still doing them at 32...
I'm picking it up tomorrow guys... One dude talked about stiff nipples (mind can cut diamonds right now), check out these photos my dealer sent me Saturday afternoon when they were setting it up! Number 42/500!
I sold my Ducati Monster 1200S a month ago thinking I wasn't riding it enough and right after I sold it the itch came back... I've been eyeing the Panigale 1299S for quite some time... Well Ducati announced the 90th anniversary (Of Ducati's existence) special edition of the 1299 S called the...
lol it's a bad idea putting an 80 hp engine in a chassis designed for a 20 hp bike. With brakes and suspension almost 20 years prior to the engine... What could go wrong? :D
I guess I should have worded that wrong. My Monster 1200 has the same engine, and if I'm not constantly moving at higher up speeds the heat thrown from the exhaust cooks my right leg. That would get old trail riding at slower speeds.
Any of the Multistrada, VStroms, BMW GS1200 type of bikes are too heavy and annoying to ride on dirt trails. Those big engines need the cooling of 45+ mph riding and doing ~25-30mph on trails would just be a bear.
The old Kawasaki KLR650 (thumper) was always the defacto street legal dirtbike...
I went through this same thing you did and I ended up buying a Mini John Cooper Works Hardtop.
Yes it's a bit more expensive than the VW and the Focus. But I drove a ton of cars before settling on this one.
Drove a Golf R, very nice, very fast enjoyed the manual. Coming from a Jetta TDI...
Honestly, I'd go with with the OEM ones you can get at the dealer. The regular ones that have a long ass warranty are hard as hell and you won't stop as well. The performance ones you have to heat up in order to get the enhanced braking which 99% of street drivers don't do.
That's not bad lol I ordered June 2014 for a November delivery, then Elon announced the Dual Motor upgrade in October and I changed my order... Finally took delivery of my 85D February 26th!
But believe me... It's worth the wait
So I drove a 911 Targa 4S today with a manual transmission... It was good... I was expecting more... Maybe my acceleration expectations has been skewed by my Tesla but for a car costing 125k the acceleration felt a little meh.
So I decided instead that I'm going to save some money and...
I'm in Highlands Ranch.
Yeah it's so impressive to me hearing how reliable Porsche's are. I usually just expect luxury brands (Audi, BMW, Mercedes) to be good new then money pits later...
I do exactly that (Charge mine up every two weeks at the mall) and I haven't gotten the letter. I think it's targeting the cheap assholes that go everyday to their local supercharger...
