ANTEC 10XX Case owners... what stock fans come with the case and can you add a 92mm?

I have two 92mm in front.. all you really need do is drill some holes but I went ahead and cut out their pre stamped grills and added chrome ones.. and there is a little lip on the lower drive cage (upper front fan) where it meets the front that you'll need to bend straight. I was gonna do 92s...

Case Lighting Suggestions?

I'll second the cold cathode.. from what I've seen/heard, they are much bright than Neons. I have a neon noiw and will be getting a CC soon I wouldn't buy anyghing from the sites that specialize in case modding, you'll pay through the nose. I believe you can get the 12" CC light and the...

the easiest way to cut it would be a jig saw, which is what I would use unless you have something realy intricate, then go with a dremel (reinforced cutoff wheels and grinding stone). You can get everything you need localy... For the plexi, use Lexan or acrylic (Lexan is stronger but scratches...

the black directron ANTEC SX1030 is such a ripoff...

I have that case, it comes with everything the Antec does, except the PSU... which I was going to replace anyway, so it worked out great for me :) If you price the Antec there, and remove the power supply, it's $84.00 (they knock $14 off).. the D30b is $78, so it's still $6 cheaper (there)...

Gonna order my Antec SX1030B tomorrow, were is the cheapest?

Just a warning on Porvantage (think I mighta mentioned in your other thread too mikef208?) I got in on the HOT DEAL there a month or two ago ($88 shipped?) for the Antec sx1030b and recieved TWO in a row all smashed up. Provantage said they were unable to do anything about it (just took orders...

Voodoo5 Fans are dying-Replace with-?

Blue orbs are petty cheap ($8ea.) not the greatest for cooling, but probably just as good, if not better, than the stock HS/Fs.

HDD Led on Antec SX830 not functioning..

Just try flipping the connector over on the mobo.. LEDs only work one way.. if that doesn't work, you may have a bad LED.. you can pick up a replacement at your favorite local electronics shop. Just get something in between 1.5v and 5v (3mm BTW)and you should be good to go.

Where can I get the cheapest Panflows

a little cheaper at teamawe.com , but I've heard a couple people complain lately that he hasn't respnded to emails.. and slow on getting orders out. I've ordered from him myself 5-6 times now, with never a problem... might be worth emailing him ahead of the order.?/? as you can see, he doesn't...

mikef208, I'm in Ohio too.. I don't know of anyplace that carries them localy (cols. area) accept they can be ordered from Best Buy.. I saw them on their website, called to double check stock at the Polaris location, and the guy told me they had them in stock.. they didn't :( I had gotten in on...

what exactly is fanbus?

I have to pipe in here and say it isn't even close to the same amount of money to buy one... There are a couple places that want upward of $40 for a switched baybus.. you can build your own, if you have the tools that is, for under $20 depending on what you want to do. Figure: switches - $2.00...

Panaflo 60mm fans -- where to buy?

I'd definately say don't go with panaflos on the 60mm.. I have two diferent models, and they are both whiney ass hell, and don't realy have great CFM. I have a 60mm L1A , and a couple FBM06F12H (not sure if it's an actual H1A , they have 11 fins and are VERY whiney) I though I'd go with all...

I've had mine (Directron true black version) for about 2 months.. I can't see ever buying any other cases for myself... I just totaly love it. It is a bit oin the heavy side though, so if you plan on LAN partying, you may want to get a cart :)

SX1030 Drive Rails

I got directrons version of the 1030b, and it came with all the drive rails too. It also came with three fans, where I think the Antecs only ship with two.. don't know if it was just a mistake or not though.

Thanks! On the top panel, I just cut through it.. I didn't remove it or anything. I finaly got the 92mm fans in the front too, last week. The drive bay actualy fits right around it, just had to bend the little lip straight with a pair of pliers.. I left the 80mm fans in the rear, because it...

Anyone mod a Antec sx1030b?

here's mine </edit> that is actualy directrons version of the sx1030b in true black.. they are all made by chenming(sp) Antec / Directron/ Enermax/ Chieftek.. all the same cases. There are quite a few posts on hardOCP forums with 1030s.. might wanna look there if you need lotsa pics.

Size of cutout for senfu????

Can anyone tell me what the dimesions on the cutout for the senfu LCD are??? I don't have it yet, but my case is being painted tomorrow, so I would realy like to get it cut ahead of time as I don't wanna burn the paint while cutting. Thanks!!

what are the quietest HDDs and CD ROM drives

Any suggestions for a quiet "affordable" CD ROM? :) those true Xs are going for like $199 on pricewatch :( I'd like to have at least 40x or so, but quite is the most important.

ABIT BP6 - Best cooling Heatsinks?

Hey thanks for the response! You didn't misguide, I found this thread while looking for a way to make these fit :) I just got done dremeling the little suckers and am booting up now. Maybe these aren't the PAL 6035s.. they are older models without the copper... but he did say they were 6035s...
