K100d Super

As far as I know, there is no K110D Super, only the K100D Super. The K110D is an older model, the same as the K100D but without Shake-Reduction. SR is needed for removing dust with the Pentax. As tdawg has said, the only efficient system is Olympus'. The rest work, but doesn't solve the issue...

Posting here some news, nothing that has been 100% verified, but at least not lost in translation as it often happens with this type of coverage. All of this happened a couple of miles from home. The TAM Airlines Airbus 320 crashed around 18h45, local time and during rush hour. After trying...

Well, 0.5x ain't that bad. Might give it a try. I'd try with my Sigma 24-70mm if only the filter size were smaller. I've yet to find an adapter for the 82mmm thread.

OK, I'm coming out of a 2-year-long lurking period to say: If they do not have a passport, they should be prepared to provide a government-issued photo ID (e.g. Driver?s License) and proof of U.S. citizenship such as a U.S. birth certificate, naturalization certificate, or U.S. passport...

Best photos of the last 12 months

I was doing a 15s exposure of the moon, and when my girlfriend steped halfway into the picture, I told her to freeze. She walked fast enough not to have trail marked in the photograph, and then stood reasonably still, avoiding motion blur. Everything was shot in Brazil.

Digital SLR: Wide-Angle Fun in Utah!

The Tamron 28-75mm was tempting me, but I decided to go with a Tokina 28-70mm f/2.8 that should be here next week. I started out with digital, but now going with film. Bright and sturdy lens plus film body is much better (and cheaper) than a digital camera starter kit.

But the perspective is still of a 10mm lens, which is dramatic. Have you tried some 360° panoramas? With this lens, it wouldn't that many shots.

Reccomend a song for this photography assignment

Keith Jarrett - The Sun Bear Concerts - Tokyo - Encore Delicate piano concert, I think it goes very well with a photographic presentation. It's a bit longer than 5 minutes, but you can (godforbid) edit out the part you want. ;)

New Dave Matthews Band album, "Stand Up", to be released May 10th

I have everything converted to MP3. If interested, I can forward them to a gmail account. Still, it's based on the stream, so the quality is mediocre. But it'll do fine until the album is released next week.
