Quiet cooling fans

If you had a current processor, I would suggest a sk6 with an 80mm fan. preferably your 80mm fan would be the Enermax speed adjustable one

can you do fan-less water cooling

I was thinking about making a watercooling setup that would use a radiator, but it would also use a very large resevior. I planned on having a fish aquarium size resevior with a pump inside, or going in. I'm thinking that with a large enough tank the excess heat will just radiate off.

any hsf comparable to the thermalright SK-6?

to install a 80mm fan on the sk6 just turn the 80mm on a 45 degree angle. To install an 80 you have to use the small clips the sk6 came with. the 80 is a little bit shorter

What is the BEST HSF unit that fits on EVERY motherboard (even ones with 60mm base & 80mm fan apply)

I'm gonna put a vote for the sk6. I toss the screaming Delta that Newegg sent with it an put an Enermax speed adjust on it. It works great. I have a 1800+ at 1600mhz now. Which is a modest overclock just using the FSB.

Speakers picking up radio stations

I had a similiar problem with my brother's setup. He has a surround system hooked up to his computer. So, I replaced the cable going from the computer to the receiver with a better cable and it fixed itself.

What is the best CD or DVD drive

Get a Plextor Ultra Plex 40, and a Pioneer 305s Slot loaded DVD-ROM. Plextor = $100 Pioneer = $100 SCSI card w/o BIOS = $25 That's what I have running in mine, and it's screaming fast!

Computer will not soft reset

Why would I want my SCSI card to have it's own BIOS? I just plan on hooking up a CD-writer, and a DVD-ROM to it, no HDDs. I don't need a BIOS do I? I think I only need a BIOS if I want to boot off one of them, no?

Refresh Rate Win98 Geforce

opening ports with win2k and ICS

Pro. 90% of the programs I use run well. I can see all of the computers on the network, including the DHCP server, and I can explore and do what I want to the files on that computer. All other computers are running windows 98SE all are wide open, eh? guess I should probably get a firewall...
