Via 4-in-1 Driver for Asus A7M266??

I recently installed my Asus A7M266 and the Asus CD-ROM included the Via 4-in-1 Drivers. Do I need to install these drivers? What do these drivers do? I'm running Windows 2000 Professional. Sorry I'm new to AMD and Via. Thanks for any info!

Asus A7V266 KT266!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

Hehe...my bad, 2 DDR and 3 SDRAM slots. Crazy! I think I'm going to cancel my Asus A7M266 and wait for the A7V266..I just hope it doesn't take forever=b tn

Has anyone heard any word on when the Asus A7V266 based on the Via KT266 Chipset will hit retail? Suppose to have 4 DDR Dimms, V-Link, and 4 ATA33/66/100 HDD connections. Where the 760 has 2 DDR and 2 HDD.

Is the ASUS CULV2 a pain?

Does this board have alot of issues? I'm planning on purchasing it but reading all these messages about memory, IRQ, and shutdown problems. Plus, I have a Micron/Crucial 128MB PC133 SDRAM with ECC, I know the i815e don't handle ECC, but can I disable it to "Non-ECC" in the bios? Asus...

"This board has sure made for in interesting swap. Moved from a MSI-6309. After about a billion restarts, things are almost ok. Had to remove WinME. Mouse never showed up for some reason, PS/2 or USB. Win98 SE now can't shutdown all the way, but it never complains about improper shutdown on...

Abit BX133 Raid or Asus CULV2 815e??

Yeah, true.....but aren't the 815e slower in 3D performance? What's the benifit with RAID over standard ATA/100? I have a Promise ATA/100 Controller but not Raid..
